Emmi's P.O.V

We were finally back from Disney World, and you want to know what I come home to find? Luke living right next door to me! Like no, move back to your old home, or even better out of London!

First I heard, a pattern of bang, clang, bang, then I heard voices.

"Wake up! Wake up!"

The pattern of notices was repeated.

Erh, it's the first day of school. That must be dad and Eleanor's new wake up call. I got up and walked into the hall to see Eleanor and dad banging pots and pans, chanting, "wake up! wake up!"

"Good morning, Emmi!" Eleanor said, way too cheerfully.

"Today is the first day of school!" Dad stated, also way too cheerfully. I frowned.

"There is no good outcome to this." I groaned.

"Oh, don't be silly!" Eleanor said, playfully swatting me.

"Now go get ready!" Dad instructed, shooing me to my room, to get dressed.

I went into my room and found the my school uniform.

"Roar!" My stomach is growling at me.

That is not a nice way to ask for food, stomach. Like for real go buy some manners. Oh, god I'm going crazy, or it's just way too early in the morning for this. The second one, definitely.
Anyways children, the smart thing to do when your stomach is growling is to eat, so I shall go scavenge for food. I went into the dining room and sat in my spot.

"Ahhhhhhh," Eleanor sung in a opera voice, as she brought a plate with a stack of pancakes.

"Oahhhhhhhhh," dad opera sung behind her, carrying five plates.

Eleanor elegantly set the plate down on the table. Then held the forks and butter knives, like she was some warrior then jumped around from chair to chair, putting the silverware down. Dad danced like a ballerina from chair to chair, setting plates down in front of us. Then Eleanor took the plate of pancakes and placed a pancake on everyone's plates.

"Now children," She spoke in a low voice. "You may eat the 'fabulous first day of school panckes'." She continued in her low voice.

Everyone stayed quiet, it was a very intense moment. I glanced at Tommy, then at Lilly, then back to Tommy then to dad. No one spoke.

"Can I have some syrup?" Tommy asked, breaking the silence.

"Of course, sweetie." Eleanor replied, happily, acting like everything was normal.

I decided it was best not to think about my crazy family and just eat my breakfast. After I ate three pancakes, drank two glasses of chocolate milk and remembered to take my pill I was done with breakfast and went to brush my teeth.

"Would you like me to do anything with your hair?" Eleanor asked me from the bathroom doorway.

"No, thank you. I think I'll just leave it down." I replied.

"Alright. Your new bangs look really cute on you!" She complimented me.

She had taken us to get haircuts yesterday. I just got my ends trimmed and bangs that go across my forehead. Tommy's hair was laying flat, apparently the spike was "not his thing anymore".

When we got to school Eleanor just had to take pictures of us.

Then little Miss Darcy had to come along.
