Miyo stood in front of Gai's door, reciting what to say. She had taken a liking to Gai awhile ago, it was about time she confessed. The door opened, Gai politely gestured for her to come in. It was time. She was going to say it.

"Gai. Awhile ago, I realized something. I don't know if this is the right way to say it but...I like you. Like, like-like you."

The Mong sat there, with a sad smile.

"Miyo, I really appreciate that, but I'm afraid I can't return your feelings."

Miyo felt her heart break, but she wasn't going to whine, or be sad. It was a crush. Not her marriage proposal.

"I like...someone else. A lot. I'm sorry. We can still be friends right?"

"Don't be. Who is it? Maybe I can help you out with her?"

"I never said it was a her."

"A-Are you...homosexual? If you are, I'm not homophobic, don't worry."

He hesitated before saying it, but she was not one to beat him up for being himself.

"I'm actually bisexual, and, if you really want to know, it's Liu."

Miyo looked at him. A fellow competitor. Rejected her. It would have been nice to be accepted, but love isn't something you can control.

"He'll see the things I see in you. Ill make sure of it."

"Thanks."

Yes, she will be the matchmaker. It's the least she could do. If not lovers, why not friends?

Liu watched Miyo enter his room. He saw her preparing to confess, it made jealousy boil inside of him. He had realized his feelings for Gai some time ago, and denied it until now. But you can't just deny your feelings and expect it to go away.

Later in the lounge, Gai came out with Miyo, Liu peered at them, curious about the confession.

"...Still, I'm sorry for rejecting you.."
"No, it's okay..."

Putting the pieces of this conversation together, it was obvious that Miyo was rejected. She seemed to be handling it well. Liu was, sort of glad. He felt bad for thinking that. Miyo began the matchmaking.

 
Weeks pass. During that time, Miyo made Liu's feelings for Gai even more, making him muster up the strength and courage to confess.

Liu walked up to Gai, who was talking to Miyo.

"Hey Gai."

"Hey."

Oh god, was he hot when he smiled like that. Liu's heart nearly stopped.

"I have to say this. GaiIloveyou!"

The three stood still in awkward silence. Gai was overjoyed, but he couldn't accept.

"I...don't know what to say. I've liked you for awhile too. But..."

But what? Miyo's mind was racing with thoughts, what did she work so hard for?

"Don't get me wrong, I still like you. But, I kinda like Miyo as well."

Liu was happy at first, but this? Of course, if he rejects him for Miyo, he would be happy for them, but he didn't make a choice! He wanted to be with Gai, Gai wanted to be with him, yet also with Miyo. It was a weird idea, but how do you know if it's bad unless you try it?

"How about a polyamory?"

"Yes! But it depends on you of course, Gai."

"Ehm, if you two are up for it, sure! I love both of you!"

He held the Bug and the Nyanya, both giving each other small glare you give your opponent.

Gai spent equal time with them, either alone, or both. Liu began to miss Miyo's presence, when it was just Gai and him. Same goes to Miyo.

Even though Gai was great, he wasn't the one for technology. Liu found out about Miyo's gadgets, they worked together on improving them. Liu and Miyo started enjoying when all three of them hung out, and even hanging out, just the two of them.

A few weeks later, Liu and Miyo had their first kiss together.
