I lay next to Emily, one of her arms wrapped around me, the other gripping my shirt. "How long do you think I'll have to stay at the hospital?" She asks and I chuckle softly "At least until Monday" I say and she groans in response. "Hey I did not get these bruises on a hurt hand for nothing" I joke, she giggles and hits my stomach. "Ow." I pout and she just giggles. God that giggle is like music to my ears. "Hey Jayje?" Emily asks after a few moments of silence "Hm?" I hum in response "Do you think I could stay with you until I find a new house or apartment?" She asks quietly and I smile "Of course Em, you can stay with me for as long as you need" I say the smile still on my face. "Thank you" She whispers and I furrow my eyebrows "For what?" I ask confused. "Being my best friend and for beating Liam into a bloody pulp" She says the last part with a quiet giggle. "Always Em" I say before kissing her head softly. "Let's try to get some sleep because Alex and Garcia will be here first thing in the morning" I say and I feel her nod against my chest. I wait for her to fall asleep before I do.
