Emily's POV
I sit down between Alex and Reid, looking up as JJ and Garcia explain the case to us, I try my hardest to pay attention but I can't help but get lost in thought. I'm snapped out of my day dream when I hear Hotch's famous words of "Wheels up in 30" I stand up, grabbing my bag and making my way to the bathroom so I can reapply my makeup. I reapply it quickly before going to meet JJ. She smiles once she sees me. We walk in a comfortable silence to the plane, somehow being the first ones there. We put our bags away before sitting in our normal spots, which are across from Alex and Reid. Alex and Reid enter the plane together, they put their bags away before sitting across from us. Before anyone can say anything my phone rings I take it out of my pocket before answering it "Agent Prentiss" I say smiling at my three friends who are all staring at me "Emily, where are you?!" Liam, great. "At work." I answer as if it's obvious, because it is obvious. "Well when will you be home?" He asks sounding impatient "I don't know, we have a case, now I have to go" I say even though I really don't, I just want to be done with this conversation. I hang up before he has a chance to say anything else. I see that it's now just Alex and JJ staring at me with raised eyebrows while Reid's lost in a book. "What?" I ask "What was that about?" JJ asks "Liam wanting to know when I'll be home" I answer and JJ makes a face "See this is why I'm single" She says and I playfully roll my red before picking up my case file starting to read through it and catching myself up on what I missed when I zoned out.
