"I love you"

Lance pov
I went to grab a snack from The kitchen and then i went quickly back netx to coran and allura to see how ke- the group was going.
I couldn't hear much and the only thing i got to hear scared me a little
"How are they?" I could only listen to coran
"What ?! Somebody else!"coran screamed
"Get out fast!" Coran was in panic
"Paladins?" He said trying to communicate
"What happened? Is there someone?" I asked
"Shiro!" "Are they coming back?" "Okay." Coran was able to communicate with shiro
"Lance prepar a pod!"he ordered me
"Okay!" I hope it not for keith, well I wouldn't like anyone to get hurt but less keith. The black and green lions arrived from where hunk and pidge came out. in the black lion came out shiro but without keith my nightmare was about to come true
"Lance! Help me take keith to the pod" shiro told me with one of his arms holding a cut on the other one
I ran inside the black lion where I found Keith still consent but very hurt
"Lance! sorry" keith said looking at me in the eyes
"Come on I'll take you to the pods" I said lifting him in my arms. I have no idea from where I pulled enough strength to lift him in my arms
"Sorry," Keith kept repeating as he walked to the pod
"Don't worry, just keep talking to me and do not fall asleep" I said as I started to walk faster
"There was this beast and It wanted to attack Shiro then I ..." Keith voice began to be weaker and lower little by little
"Keith! Keith!" I started to run "were almost there"
We finally arrived to the pod and I quickly put him inside so he could heal. I didn't want to leave him but I was also worried about the others. So i went to see how they were
"Aouch!" I could hear hunk complain
"Hunk! Bro, are you okay?" Asked
"It's only a scratch, those beasts were scary" He said as pidge helped him with a small scratch on his face
"And you pidge?" I asked her
"I'm fine, thanks to hunk" She replied smiling towards hunk
"Lance! How's keith?" shiro aked me
" i don't know, while waking he stopped talking to me but he's already in the pod" I replied lowering my head
"Don't worry everything going to be fine, keith is strong" shiro said putting his hand on my shoulder "aouch!" He scream suddenly
"Don't move or it'll hurt you more," said allura
"Thank you shiro" I said smiling
"Hey, Lance, when did you get so strong and fast?"pidge she with a more confused than surprised face
"First of all is that supposed to be a complement and second....I... don't know i was always fast but not strong and less to carry keith" I replied with my hand behind my neck.
After taking about what had happened in those two ships everyone went to rest and I sat in front of Keith so that when he woke up i could be there. after an hour or so Keith woke up i caught him in my arms
"Lance?" He asked me a little dizzy
"The one and only, how do you feel?" I asked as he put his arm around my neck to take him to the room
"Good, I think?" He told me, he was still a little dizzy but it was cute
When we got to the room there was already food for him i, i sat him in the bed and gave him extra clothes for him to change
"You should rest" I said about to leave the room
"Why are you leaving?" He asked while changing his clothes
"Um ... I thought ... you want me to stay with you?" I said
"Of course" he answered me quickly
"Ok" I said lying on the bed while he ate
"Sorry" he said again
"Why?" I said sitting next to him
"I said I wouldn't risk too much and then I almost died" he said lowering his head
"Hey, do not say that, I don't care, the only thing that matters is that you're here, safe and sound like you promised me" I said giving him a hug
"Yeah" he replied
I pull him with me to the bed without letting go of him
"Eww, afection," he said jokingly.
"Hahahahah, you better get used to it" I laughed with him
After a while of talk and cuddles we went to sleep after a few minutes in the silence I couldn hear keith whispering to me
"I love you"
