The mission

Hey!, so... you know when you have those time when you think of things that are just like "i should write this" well... this is one of those is a short story of maybe 10 parts.
Also this is my first "story" and I'm not a professional writer nor i dedicated to this so please no mean comments, my first language is actually spanish but I know and I'm still learning English so please mark me any mistakes.

Keith's p.o.v
Lance and I were assigned for a mission.
It has been a long time since I did something with him i mean This is a mission for everyone but you understand the point, even though he can be annoying sometimes, if you get to know it well He can be a very interesting guy.
Shiro decided that it was a good idea to send us since lance is good at distracting and im good at sneaking.
"Remember, you enter the palace, lance, you distracts to the guards while keith sneaks in and gets the information with the help of pidge and hunk. then come back" shiro repeated the plan about seven times.
Then he gave us some cameras so they could see what we saw.
We both went out in our Lions and landed quickly but stealthily on the planet. We walked exploring the planet for a while then we arrived at the palace.
"Wait!" I said quickly grabbing lance's arm to stop him.
"It's way too easy ... there are no guards ... and this place is too colorful" I said looking sideways.
"Come on, keith, just because you do not like colorful stuff does't mean it's bad," he said with a triky smile on his face.
"No-no, that's not... the-um... case" I said stammering because of that smile that made me nervous.
"We'll be fine, we're together," he said.
"Okay..." I replied in a low tone.
We walked, I went further back to be sure that nothing attacked us when lance went through the door, I felt him grabbing my arm more and more weakly When I looked at him but I could not see him looked desperately for hin but I could not find him "lance!Where are you? lance !? "
then I felt something grab my leg
I looked down with the sword in my hand ready to atack whatever was holding my leg, but when I pointed down I saw a baby ... he was like 2-3 years old , very quickly the kid broke into tears and i put away my bayard, at that moment I panicked as they could discover me. without thinking I grabbed the child in my arms and ran to a farther area when I looked at the child I could see his eyes, they were like an ocean and then I remembered lance's pretty blue eyes
"LaղcE!?!" I scream confused
The baby looked me in the eyes and quickly his eyes were filled with tears again
"No-no nonono! I didn't mean to scare you, sorry" I said worried.
But Lance did not seem to stop crying , so I remembered what Shiro used to sing me when I was little.
I lifted him in my arms and began to sing "twinkle twinkle little star...umm... how -i wonder what you...are" lance was making silence little by little "up above the world so high...like..a... diamond in the sky"I continued"twinkle twinkle little star how I wonder what you are..." thankfully lance was quickly fast asleep.
