Chapter Nine: The Deal

Hello minna! Yes I am back from hell. Lol, anyways, I was just grounded for the weekend. And well, lemme tell you this, I was scared that I was banned from watching, reading, and writing, for my entire lifetime! When in reality... Only a weekend... Lol, sorry minna, didn't mean to scare you or worry you.

Sorry for the late update minna, it's already October, and school is nearing to end! Yay! (Here in the Philippines, school ends at the month of March) Five more months minna! And I'll be free!

Third person's POV:

The cold... It was the only thing she felt besides the darkness that was around her. She felt tears stream down her face as she kept her eyes tightly shut. "W-where...?" She cried out. "Where are you... N-Natsu?" She shivered. She was cold, too cold. She felt like she was being freeze to death. Her toes were frozen, she couldn't move or feel them. She hugged her knees tightly, just to get a bit more heat.

"N-Nastu... Help... Please...." Her breath was the only thing she could hear besides her voice. She was shaking, quivering. The cold was too much for her. "Natsu..." She kept calling out. Her mind only thought of him and the Fairy Tail guild, she thought about how everyone in Fairy Tail was better without her, so was the bitter fact that Natsu really didn't care for her.

"Am I going to die h-here?" Her voice started to crack. Is my life really going to end... here? She thought.

This time... She couldn't deny the fact that she really needed Natsu at the moment. She didn't want to be a burden to him nor did she want to ask for his help all the time. That's why she left, she didn't want to always ask help from him or them. "N-no... I-I don't need him..." Lucy tried to smile, even if more tears continued to fall.

"I-I... Don't need them... R-right?" She knew... It was all just a lie. She knew that the Fairytale she wanted never will happen. She knew that it was all just fantasy. And she too, knew that the words that had just come out from her mouth, was a lie.

She needed them, she needed him. She wanted to be with them again, she wanted to be with him again. She wanted to feel the warmth that she always felt whenever she was with them, or to be more precise, him.

The warm feeling in her chest, whenever she was in the guild, that's what she wanted to feel. But whenever she was with him, whenever she saw his wide grin, whenever they were together or whenever she just sees him, that warm feeling spreads all over her body, her heart, first skips a beat, then pounds faster then the normal and regular beating.

Lucy noticed her tears stopped. They were drying already. She touched her cheek, as she started to feel warmer a bit. She wasn't cold anymore. Then a flash of light had appeared.

His usual, charming yet childish and idiotic grin had flashed in the light. And then words that she herself wished to hear, especially if it came to him.
