I put the breakfast I made on one of our nice plates before placing it on the black tray that I had found in one of the kitchen drawers. I grab the mug that was still steaming from the hot coffee and place it on the tray as well. I pick it up before making my way up the stairs and into the bedroom where my beautiful fiance was still sleeping. I had woken up about an hour before I knew Julian usually does to make him breakfast for his birthday.

I set the tray on the nightstand next to him before tapping the tablet a bit to close the blinds over the huge windows that were letting in the bright sunshine. I turn the lights on a dim setting before sitting on the edge of the bed, noticing how peaceful he looks while he slept. I smile at his beauty before leaning down and setting my lips gently against Julian's. My hand comes up to settle on the side of his neck and after a few minutes of moving my lips on his, he starts to moan against my mouth.

I pull away to see his eyes flutter open before he smiles up at me. Before I could say anything, he reaches out to bunch my t-shirt in his fist and pulling me down to connect our lips again. He runs his tongue against my bottom lip, asking for entrance, but I pull away with a chuckle. I run my fingers over his cheek as he stretches on the bed. "Happy birthday, my fiance."

"Thank you, my fiance," he whispers, his voice still husky with sleep. I sit up from my spot next to him before grabbing his hands and pulling him up into a sitting position. He lets out a groan, but once he sees the food on the tray that I settle into his lap, his smile perks up again.

"Bacon, eggs, and pancakes. Your favorite," I whisper to him before crawling over his legs to settle into the spot on my side of the bed. I turn on the TV to watch Friends since that was what we usually watched whenever we were just waking up on the weekends. I grab the coffee that I brought up with me as I watch the show.

"So what do we have planned for today?" Julian asks me, holding a tiny piece of bacon out for me to eat. I lean forward, taking it in my mouth while making sure that I lick his greasy fingers as well to put that smirk on his face.

"You'll see. Just be prepared to let out your inner child for the day," I tell him, noticing how he thinks for a few minutes before giving me a confused expression.

"My inner child?" He asks, taking a bite from his pancakes as he keeps trying to think of what I could mean by letting his inner child out for the day. I knew he would get a kick out of what we were doing today because he's mentioned to me before that he would love if we went to this place together. I glance over at him with a smirk before focusing my attention on the show again while finishing my coffee for the day ahead of us.

"Once you're done eating, take a shower and dress in comfortable clothes. We'll be doing lots of walking," I say, giving him the one hint he'll get.

He puts the tip of his finger in his mouth, biting down on it a bit as he thinks of all the possibilities of what could be happening today. "Walking?"

About two and a half hours later, I'm sitting in the driver's seat of my car while Julian is texting on his phone next to me. He holds one of my hands, his thumb running along the back of it to bring me a sense of calmness. He looks super cute in black jeans, a white t-shirt, and a jean jacket. I had just thrown on some black joggers, a t-shirt, and a flannel wrapped around my waist because I really didn't care what I looked like today.

"You look cute," I blurt out as we drive on the highway, getting closer to our destination.

"Oh, do I?" Julian questions, putting his phone down before moving in his seat to be turned towards me more. I glance at him for a second before chuckling and looking back at the road as my GPS directs me to take the next exit.
