Chapter 10: Second Chance

Roger's P.O.V

I decided to take a look at the message... I know I'm invading Brian's privacy but I need to and the message was.

"Can we meet, I mean right now ASAP."

Then at the right time he woke up and grabbed his phone out of my hands and he said he needs to go as he kissed my forehead, I had an idea on following him.

I tried not to make a sound, I saw Chrissie and Brian he asked her "What do you want?!" She wrapped her arms around his neck trying to kiss him and told him "I Love you Please give me another chance!"

I was hiding at a bush

He pulled away as I sighed in relief and he told her that he's taken and he grabbed her arm and took her to the nearby taxi "I'm doing this for you because I don't want Mary to be worried and stressed." She started to cry.

I kinda felt bad for Chrissie but I'm glad Brian showed his loyalty for me and he texted me.

"I took Chrissie home by a taxi and everything is alright, See you tomorrow ☆️."

---The Next Day---

I invited Freddie to the cafe and told everything I saw last night, he was surprised he saw her crying when he had breakfast with Mary.

He told me that he had a huge fight with Mary and told the whole reason. Then Chrissie came in and started cry so loud, she said she was brokenhearted because her crush (Brian) loves someone else.

Freddie comforted her as I completely change the whole topic for her to get distracted. We took her for some ice cream and she felt a little better.

---The Day of The Play---

I was so nervous because I can't find Deaky and Freddie, I tried to look for them and run as Mary stopped me and said "Slow down or you'll get hurt." I nodded and asked where are my friends and Brian.

Mary told me that Freddie is going to get champagne and she doesn't know where Brian and Deaky went. Then I saw Freddie I told him that I'm feeling nervous and he told me not to worry about a thing.

---A Few Minutes Later---

I saw Brian and Deaky at last. I'm glad they're not arguing anymore, Deaky approached me and said "You've gotta see this!" He saw my parents sitting together in the front row, this boosted my confidence.

After a few minutes we started the show.

---After a Long hour---

The play ended everybody applauded, when I went to the backstage I can't find Deaky and Brian. Then I saw both  of them holding flowers and gave it to me, Deaky gave me daisies while Brian gave me roses.

They told me that they decide to make a fair duel to make me choose between them. It was a tough choice because they were very nice to me and helped all the way.

Then I said my final answer was................ Brian!

The two guys shook hands while Brian hugged me.

---Nighttime---

Everything was perfect we went to a nearby hill and setted a blanket just for the two of us as we cuddled each other under the stars and stargazing. We ate crepes together as Brian started to talk about the stars and their meanings, I really don't understand what he is saying as I enjoyed the view. Then I fell asleep in his arms and he kissed my forehead and whispered on my ear "I love you to the moon and back."
