Do you know that feeling of texting into a group chat and not getting an answer?
You know that people saw the message, read the message, but still didn't text back.
Although there are 5, 10, 30 or even 50 people in the group and you know that they are there, you still feel like there is no-one who hears your scream.
Do you know that feeling of being the only one left with no lab partner, although everyone should put their name on the list, next to the person they want to work with?
You know that all the people who already put their name in saw that you don't have a partner, but decided to go with someone else.
Although you know that they probably don't even care and just put their name next to their best friend you feel humiliated.
Do you know that feeling of sitting with a group of people at lunch and they are all laughing about an inside joke and when you ask, what they are laughing about they just awkwardly look away?
You know that they (maybe even secretly) spend time without you and have fun together while you didn't even know they were meeting up.
Although you know that they probably just don't want to explain the joke, because joke aren't funny anymore if you explain them, you feel lonely.
Loneliness.
It is painful to feel lonely.
Especially if you feel lonely, although you are sitting right next to a bunch of people.
