Third Person
A room with pale grey walls, a small fire, a small kitchen. The windows of the room showed nothing but the glowing white light.
Altea was lying on the bed, eyes closed, no scars.
*gasp* Altea said and her eyes shot open.
She moved her head left and right in the bed but didn't sit up.
A lady stand next to the fire, with a long white dress, golden bracelets, and a purple hooded half cloak.
"It looks like your awake." She said not turning to face the girl behind her.
"Where am I?" Altea asked
"Don't worry, your safe here." The lady said, "nothing here will hurt you"
"Who are you?" Altea asked
"An old friend." The girl said facing the fire infront of her, "you always did manage to get yourself in trouble."
"Am..I..." Altea said looking up at the ceiling.
"Dead?" The lady finished, "Yes..and No."
"Oh.." Altea said quietly to where it was only a whisper. Her voice was shaking, and sounded like she was about to cry.
"That boy really hurt you." The girl said, "In more ways than one."
Altea turned her head and faced the wall away from the lady. She let out a whimper and shaky breath.
"I'm guessing Death, was the easy part." She said no emotion in her voice, "His words pierced your heart."
Altea sobbed. Then she sobbed again and turned her head to the lady blinking back tears.
"That all happened didn't it?" She said her voice shaking, "I fell."
The lady nodded and Altea whimpered.
Then she sat up, while saying, "he had a knife! And forced me to that ledge."
She turned around and punched the crate in anger.
"I should've just took his ears away! I should've turned her!" She said her voice rising in frustration, "I should've done what he said!"
"You doubt yourself?" The lady asked, no emotion found in her voice.
"Of course I do!" Altea replied, "I failed! I would've done anything for him but I froze!"
"You couldn't stand anyone finding out what you really are...and when that was used against the person you loved and you.." Fhe lady said.
"The things he said were true." Altea said sadly, "all my life I had been alone. I had to.  I was a danger to everyone. A monster."
"You'll never be able to open yourself up, if your afraid of what you are." The lady said.
Altea looked at her hands as a soft tears rolled down her cheek.
"Altea." The lady said, "you need to accept who you are."
"How?" Altea sobbed, "I was raised to be alone..."
"It's a shame." The lady said. "You aren't the girl I remember."
"Huh?" Altea muttered.
"The Altea I remember wouldn't let a minor setback like this to stop her." The lady said, "even when all was lost. She pressed on."
Altea narrowed her eyes.
"A MINOR SETBACK!!" She yelled at the lady, "THE BROTHER I LOVE IS IN DANGER AND YOU CALL IT A MINOR SETBACK!"
"Exactly. He's in danger. Being near death almost made your forget that. There are people who are in danger, Altea. People you care deeply about." The lady replied emotionless, "are you just gonna give up and forget"
"I..." Altea trailed off.
"Maybe you should." The lady suggested, "after all, the brother you love caused this."
"NO! He would never to do this! This was NEVER his fault! I love him!" Altea screamed.
The lady took in a sharp breath as Altea continued,
"I will NEVER give up on him! I will do ANYTHING to keep him safe."
"You always have.." The lady said and then turned around showing her tanned face, and black hair covering almost all of her face. She was beautiful. Almost like an angle.
"Do you want to go back?" The Angle asked.
"Yes. I do!" Altea said standing up, "Aaron! Aphmau! Lucinda, Zane! Garroth, Kim! I may not have told them everything about me. But they care about me. They have been the closest thing to a real family I've ever had. I WONT LET HIM HAVE THEM!"
"Heh. There's the girl I knew." The angle chuckled, a small smile curving on her lips, "alright then. I'll help you."
"Huh?" Altea asked.
"If you are truly determined. I can help you escape death." The angle informed, "But from there. The rest is up to you."
"Am..I dead?" Altea asked.
"Are you truly determined to save him?" The angle asked, "to save all of your friends.."
"Yes!" Altea said, "I will never give up!"
"Then this is my debt re-payed." The angle said, "go. Fight for them."
Altea nodded and walked to the doors but then stopped and turned to her.
"You never told me who you were? I'm guessing an angle." Altea said.
"I'm just...an angle. Now go! Before I change my mind." The angle said.
Altea nodded and opened the doors. She stepped out and looked into the light as it filled her vision making everything fade away.
