Jeiden's POV:

After saying my final goodnight to Jaelyn last night, my second wind faded and my body gave into slumber. The sleep felt like seconds but it was better than most nights. Peeling myself from my sheets; I flung my clothes into the dirty bin and set off for a morning shower, followed by a haste morning rutien.

I grabbed my backpack flinging it on, before going out the door. I live in an apartment complex. It's really chill, having a pretty subtle neighbor below and another next door. I'm glad not to get any complaints with the fact of me blasting tunes when cleaning some days. Maybe were all on the same time schedule.

The girl next door leaves around the same time I do, and the boy below a little before. I've come to the conclusion he's in high school, but I wouldn't know anything about to two because I'm too shy to open my mouth around them.

I close my front door softly and I hear a "hello neighbor" and suddenly a "good morning" spills from between my teeth. I guess I'm in a better mood than usual, heh. If all it took to crack my shell was to talk to someone new - with the same interests as me - I'm happy it happened now then never.

Though the 'good morning' was all it would stay, because I was too stuck trying to come up with a question she already was on her way down the stairs. To which I followed, until we parted ways. Her on foot, and me on the bus, to which I took deeper into the city.

I've been working at a café for a couple years, and I pretty much watched the owners build it from the ground up. It was a small shop at first, barely anyone would come. But it took off more and more, and over time their business was booming. I've moved locations with them and stuck with them through thick and thin.

They're my mother's when my mother abandoned me. I somehow ended up here, and they scooped me up like a stray. I was lost in the world and a little more rebellious than I'd like to say. They calmed me, and helped mold me into a better person. I'm forever greatful. Not only that, they opened their home to me, they scolded me when I needed it most - since I was going to drop out of school - heck I was even in their wedding. Ash and Michelle have hearts of gold, and the etheral beauty of an angel.

I finally was broke out my nostalgic thoughts, when the bus speakers announced my stop. Quickly stepping off and entering my somewhat chaotic work place. Before I entered a question popped into my head, maybe I should ask my neighbor where she goes when she leaves in the morning.
