Jaelyn's POV:

"No, they're just a bit shy compared to other people as all." - Jae

I locked my phone and set it down on the table. I crack a small smile before looking up at Jisung bringing our drinks back. "You look more chipper now that you've got a daily dose of me"

I couldn't help but let out a small chuckle, lightly hitting him for his little remark. We didn't talk about much after that. Just stared through the window, watching as the sun slowly set, as people walked past the shop.

Our meeting came to an end, as he dropped me off at home. "I'll see you in class Monday, don't forget to do the assignment. I know how you wait last minute young lady." Jisung scolded me, I swear he thinks just because he's a couple years older than me, he can lecture me like he's my Dad.

"Yea yea..." I closed the passengers seat door, before trotting back to my place. I paused at the stairs, hearing my bottom floor neighbor call out to me.

"Weird seeing you come home so late, are you finally digging into college life and went a party?" They said patting the seat next to them.

The neighbor below us was a high school student. He left in the morning before next door neighbor and myself did, and he'd return home hours after we did. I barely saw him on weekends, he's either catching up on much needed sleep, studying his ass off, working a couple extra hours, or playing video games. Hey, can't knock him for the last one. At least it's one form of relaxing for him to do.

He was pale, but not the Ed Sheran : A Team, Twilight New Moon pale. He had a nice peachy complexion, ocean eyes, and short black locks. He had an edgy look, like those guys that look like they spend too much time at the skate park, and their diet was made up on cola and fretos. He's a cool kid none the less. I'm glad he's around, and makes me smile when I'm down.

"No Brent.-" I said through a smile. "I went to a café in the city to relax. I've been more on edge lately. I want college life to end already. It's like senioritis but I'm not even in my last year yet." Huffing out a little air, before plopping myself in the seat next to him.

"I can say I feel that way, I am a senior. Soon I'll have to turn my part time job into a full time one. Is that café hiring?" - "Hmmm, I don't know. I could always ask Jisung. His friend owns the place."

Before getting too comfortable, I stand up and face him quick. "Make sure to get some sleep, I'm gonna hit the hay. Today was more exhausting for some reason." - "See you around Jae" he gave me some finger guns before standing up himself.

I dragged myself up the stairs, unlocked my door, kicked my shoes off, dropped my bag to the ground, and knocked out as soon as I hit my bed. Goodnight.
