"Open, gate of the lion, Leo" Izuku chanted be for his room lit up in a gold light.

"Hey Izuku, whats up?" The lion spirit asked.

"Well I've been thinking." He started. "I want to learn to fight. So far it's been you guys defending me and I don't think that's fair. I want to be able to fight along side you all."

Leo smirked. "That's something I can do. Tell you what, you find somewhere quiet we can practice, maybe with some things people won't mind getting destroyed, and we can teach you."

Izuku smiled brightly and Leo vanished back to the spirit world. He had some thinking to do. There was no way a gym would allow him to join up and practice his quirk and destroy their equipment. There has to be some place where people won't notice him using his quirk. He might have to sleep on it.

Later that night, just as he was about to fall asleep, an idea spring into his mind. A beach. It wasn't too far fro. Here and it was covered in trash. No sane person went there meaning it would be a perfect place to train. The piles of garbage would hide his quirk hard and no one would miss them if they went missing. He fell asleep to thoughts of training at the beach with his spirit friends.

The next morning was thankfully Sunday and therefore Izuku was able to go off to words the beach in the morning with no fuss. After arriving he took his time making his way through the winding piles, trying to ignore the smell of rust and other unpleasant things.  Leo was summoned after reaching the shore that the lion spirit wrinkled his nose at the smell.

"Isn't there a better place to train?" Leo asked, eyeing the garbage hills.

Izuku shook his head. "I can't afford a membership to a quirk gym and its illegal to use my quick in public."

"I guess this'll have to do then." The spirit sighed. "The first thing that you should would on is how many gates you can keep open. It'll help improve your stamina and all that. But we shouldn't try and over do it. For now let's see if you can summon Lyra for now."

Izuku nodded and retrieved Lyra's key from his pouch. "Open gate of the lyre, Lyra." A gold light enveloped the beach and Lyra appeared.

"Oh look how much you've grown Izuku. How come you don't summon me more often? It like I never see you any more!" Lyra pouted.

"But told me I can only summon you every do often." He protested but Lyra began to hum and play her harp.

"So how do you feel?" Leo asked looking somewhat pleaded.

"I feel a little winded but nothing too noticeable." Izuku replied honestly.

"Good. Let's see how long you can keep us here. In the meantime we can do some strength training to increase your strength. You did say you wanted to fight along side us."

He nodded in determination, wanting to not be a hindrance to his spirit friends. And so he began training his quirk and his body with Leo and his other spirits watching over him, pushing his limits but also making sure he didn't overwork himself.

Four months in and Leo began teaching him some other powers he may have. The first one was called Urano Metria and was an offence technique that used up a lot if energy. The first time he used it, the trash in the area they trained in had been completely destroyed and had left Izuku unconscious. It was obvious he needed to be stronger in order to use t bc at power.

Two months later and he found himself magically in a suit similar to what Leo wore. Apparently that power was called Star Dress and gave him the same abilities as his spirits.

Each day he was growing stronger which didn't go unnoticed by his peers. Though it didn't really matter what they thought of him since it wasn't like they cared for him in the first place. And just like that, it was the day of the UA entrance exams.
