Sitting in the sun at Connors house was really relaxing. Connor and Bolton were in the pool splashing and having fun.

My phone vibrated. I looked at it and it said that I had a txt from Kacie.

'hey. How's it goin with Connor?'

'It went good I guess.'

'U guess?'

'Yea. He told me something that I can't tell u but. Um. He said that I'm his and there is nothin I can do about it.'

'?'

'not his in like a way that I have no choice. But like as in I was made for him? Idk how to explain it to u.'

'Oh. Well.. Um. Well so we can't be friends?'

'No we can be friends. I want to. Just cause Connor thinks I'm his doesn't mean I don't want to be friends. I mean I still like u..'

'Really?'

'Yea. Really'

'Well wat about Connor?'

'Wat about him?'

'Well won't he be mad? Or sometin?'

'Who cares? I don't want to be with him. He said that I will. But I don't rite now'

'Rite now?'

'Yea.'

'So in the future ur gunna want him?'

'Well that's wat he said. He said that I was gunna want him eventually.'

'Well wat happens wen u do want him?'

'? I dunno'

'Oh. Ok. Well do u wanna hang out today?'

'Um. Actually I'm hanging out with my little brother today. I was Gunna take him to the park later. Do u wanna come?'

'Yea sure. Wats ur brothers name?'

'Bolton.'

'Ok. Wat time?'

"Hey Bubba, do u wanna go to the park later?" I asked Bolton.

"Yea! Yea! Yea!"

"Ok."

'how about 5 ish?' I messaged back.

'yea works for me. See u then'

I put my phone down and kept sun bathing. About half an hour later Bolton said that he was done swimming. We gathered up our things and walked out to my car.

"Callie." Connor said.

"Yea?"

"Um. Who are you goin to the park with?"

"A friend."

"Oh ok. Well.. Um. I guess il see you later. And I'm sorry to have sprung all that information on you earlier." he walked up to me and whispered in my ear. "by the way I'm the eagle in your tattoo."
