brendon and i walked around backstage, telling each other everything about ourselves. it made me so happy to be with him finally.
"hey az," he says to me, suddenly serious. "i'm on tour, as you know. so i won't get to see you often."
"yeah, i know, i try not to think about it. but we can make it work, you know. we've been long distance until now.."
he cuts me off with a kiss.
"i'm asking you to come on tour with me. film it for your show, upload it. i'll buy your clothes and everything you need on the way." he grins.
i jump on him, wrapping my arms and legs around his body.
"oh my god, yes brendon, yes! you're the greatest i lo- can't believe this is happening!" i kiss him.
"cmon, love, lets go to my hotel."
when we arrive at the hotel, i'm almost asleep. brendon carries me in and lays me on the bed. i hear him shower, get changed, then lays beside me, wrapping his arms around me, surrounding my body with warmth. his face is buried in my hair, and his damp clothes are pressed against me, became he recently took a shower.
"azzie," he whispers.
he thinks i'm sleeping.
"i love you. at least, i think i do. the past months with you in my life have made me incredibly happy, you have no idea. god, you're amazing. you're smart and beautiful and funny and witty,, perfect. yeah, i.. i know you can't hear me, but i love you."
i smile, but he can't see me due to the dark.
i wait until i hear him snoring, and whisper back.
" i love you too."
