POV: Sadie
_______________________________________"This is your house?"
I stared in awe at the towering mansion before me.
"Yeah." Addison said, getting out of my car. "Home sweet home."
Addison led me up the stairs to the
front porch. The front of the house looked almost brand new, no scratches or chipped paint in sight.
Addison took off her necklace, a silver chain with a key attached to it. She inserted the key, letting us into the house. My jaw dropped. The living room was bigger than our entire apartment...like...a lot bigger. The room was carpeted everywhere except the entryway, where there was a shoe rack and a welcome mat. The wall was painted a soft pink, and a crystal chandelier hung from the ceiling. Two large couches sat in front of a big screen tv that took up the wall."This is the living room." Addison said, gesturing around her. Her gaze landed on me. "Pick your jaw up off the floor, Sadie. We're just starting."
"I'll do whatever I want with my jaw, thank you very much."
Addison led me through the house, showing me almost every room...which there were lots of. Addison's room was a teenage girl's dream, and made me extremely jealous. Addison plopped down on her enormous bed and took off her shoes.
"How are you guys so loaded?" I asked her.
I heard a ding from my phone and slid it out of my pocket, checking my texts.
"That's why." Addison replied, pointing to my phone.
"What do you mean?"
"Well...what brand is that phone?"
"Um, Ferris. Like literally everyone else's phone."
"Well, our parents kinda sorta own Ferris Tech."
I looked up, my jaw dropping.
"I'm sorry, what?"
"Did I stutter?"
"Your parents literally own the biggest tech company in the world?"
"Yes, they do. Now pick your jaw up off the floor."
"I told you, I'll do with my jaw whatever I please."
"Fine. You look like an idiot though."
"Noted."
"So...I have about ten minutes to relax before ballet."
"Ten minutes? But we just got here."
"Oh stop your whining. All you need to do is drive me."

"You sure you don't want me to walk in with you?" I asked Addison as she unbuckled her seatbelt.
"I'm good." Addison replied, hopping out of the car.
"How long is your practice?"
"Three hours."
"Three?"
"Yeah. Make sure to pick me up at five."
"You got it."
Addison slammed the car door closed, running into the studio. I waved goodbye and and drove onto the main road, heading to the hospital. I've been spending a lot more time there lately, because Cameron and I are becoming friends, which is cool. Most my life I hadn't really had any friends except for my brothers, so it was nice to switch things up a bit.

"You're back." Cameron said, sitting up in his bed."Yeah." I replied, hopping up to the edge. "Addison's at ballet."
