Debriefing
LB gave a cough.
"Only a week ago," she said, "Agent Redfort was kidnapped by Lorelei von Leyden, who was presumed dead. Agent Redfort recounts seeing the Count as well: clearly the Count survived the fall which occurred a month ago. Von Leyden seems to be working for the Count again - we are unsure why.
"Which is why I have called this debriefing as so all of you know who to look out for. Some faces you may recognise, dead or alive."
LB pressed the remote.
The innocent, kind smiling face of Boyd Marshall, more commonly known as Baby Face Marshall appeared on the screen.
"Boyd Marshall, known as Baby Face Marshall as his criminal nickname, was found dead, murdered by the Australian, Marnie Novak. He worked for the Count in the Jade Buddha case, and was arrested. He later broke out of prison with help we assume was from the Count and Novak; he then was employed by the Count to kill Amarjargel Oidov. Fortunately for us, he failed this mission and went on the run, and later partnered up with Lorelei von Leyden. Novak found him and disposed of him."
Another click.
An image of an elegant, stylish red haired woman, a scar on her left eye, concealed by tinted glasses appeared.
"Valerie 'Nine Lives' Capaldi. She was nicknamed 'Nine Lives' because she had cheated death as many times as any cat. She worked for the Count - she was his best assassin, if you did not count Kaina, because of her age - and was involved in the Jade Buddha case. Unfortunately for Capaldi, she ran out of lives when Agent Hitch shot her dead. Lorelei von Leyden pretended to be Capaldi back from the dead in the theft of the 8 Key and invisibility skin, in order to disguise herself and scare presumably us and the man she employed, Claude Fontaine."

The image of a middle-aged woman, wearing a floral dress, along with a veiled hat, and blonde hair and steely blue eyes appeared on the screen.
"Marnie Novak, also known as The Australian. She was a ruthless killer and psychopath and worked with and for the Count. They were seemingly pretty close, though the Count got to call the shots, and she was involved in several cases; the Jade Buddha of Khotan, the Cyan Wolf Scent, Amarjargel Oidov and the snakes, and the case of Casey Morgan. She helped the mole, Casey Morgan, repetitively, and also seemed to work for her by the Count's orders. She is the mother of Lorelei von Leyden and was once the Count's protègè, explaining his fondness for her. Novak is now dead, her body trapped under ice until Spring."

The image of a bored looking woman sitting behind a desk.
"Casey Morgan, our mole and crazy killer. Formerly known as Buzz, she was behind all six cases and was furthermore the true puppet master. Fortunately, after falling from a thirty-four floor building, she fell to her death and Spectrum later recovered her body."

Different photos of seemingly different women.
"Lorelei von Leyden, murderous psychopath and a master of diguise; she was taught how to disguise herself to an extraordinary level by none other than the Count. She was believed to have died in a plane explosion, but somehow survived. We have no idea what she actually looks like, as none of us but Agent Redfort have seen Von Leyden's true face. She is believed to change her identity everyday, as so we struggle to find her. She was involved in the cases of the Cyan Wolf Scent and the theft of the 8 Key and invisibility skin. She also tried to kill Agent Redfort while the Amarjargel Oidov and the snakes case and the Casey Morgan case were going on. She was not a part of those two cases, only another problem. She worked for her mother, the Australian Marnie Novak, and the Count, and double-crossed them both. She now seems to be working for the Count again, but we are unsure why, as she reportedly said she was more of a 'freelancer' and didn't enjoy orders. She seems to have a close relationship with Kaina von Leyden and they seem to be trusting friends. It seems she is obsessed with Agent Redfort and ending her life. Three times she was extremely close to murdering Agent Redfort, and it was only by pure luck Redfort escaped each time. This woman is a dangerous murderer, and we need all eyes out for suspicious behaviours."

The image of a young teenage girl appeared, with long dark black hair, blue eyes, a scar across her neck and a smile which didn't reach those twinkling eyes, appeared on the screen. If you compared a photo of her and the Count, you'd notice the many chilling resemblances between them; like the defined cheekbones and chiselled nose the Count was famous for. In fact, the only true difference between them was the girl's blue eyes and the man's dark shark-like ones, impossible to fathom.
Ruby noticed something very, very small in LB's monologue change. She seemed slightly unsettled now.
"Kaina von Leyden. Daughter of the Count von Viscount. From the beginning, we were unsure what her part was; she was seen at each six cases which happened in the past year, every time, but not necessarily involved. The Count revealed to Agent Redfort whom Kaina was in the crypt. She seems to be part of his master plan, which we are currently unsure of.
"The girl is a murderer and has killed more than several agents on more than several occasions - for such a young girl, she's shown no remorse nor regret for any of her kills. She is dangerously unhinged and shows similiar traits to Lorelei von Leyden. If you see this girl, call for backup immediately. Wherever Kaina von Leyden is, the Count isn't far behind.
"She was on the building of the night when Casey Morgan struck, and seemingly was thrown off the roof. We never recovered her body and believe she is still alive and still at large with her father, the Count.
"Von Leyden can also successfully disguise herself, which can make her tricky to identify. Agents, just remember that when you see this girl, she is not a child, but a crazed psychopath, and a young serial murderer. And with the known fact that the Count and Kaina are never far from one another, you might want to think about running."

The image of a tall, thin man with perfectly combed silver-grey hair, dark, shark-like soulless eyes, defined cheekbones, chiselled nose, Italian leather-soled shoes and a fine suit appeared on screen.
"Count von Viscount," said LB, and her voice was full of the uttermost hate and disgust. "Previously known as Victor von Leyden. This man is barely a man, if not a monster, and is a criminal mastermind. He is a genius and has escaped our clutches for years. He can second-guess almost anyone's moves and motives. He is a criminal and works for the fun of it, and works strictly alone. The Count worked for Casey Morgan, and retrieved items from each six cases but two, all which he'd been ordered to get for Morgan's master plan. The Count was going to strike a deal with Casey, mistaking Hitch for her, and offered Agent Redfort's life for the coordinates to where the Mars Mushrooms were. He was kicked off the building by none other than Morgan, which led us to believe he was dead. We have no idea of his motives now, only that he needs Agent Redfort. Count von Viscount is back and still at large. All of us must be aware and ready for any attack."
The debriefing was over.
