~~~I suggest listening to Dollhouse by Melanie Martinez while reading this ~~~
Confused. Useless. Lost. Alone. Broken. Failure. Annoying. Waste of space.
That's how she felt inside but never let anyone know. She always showed herself as Happy, Knowing what she is doing, Helpful. But it was all a lie.
She would wear a fake smile around people but when alone she would cry and want to cut her pain out of her heart. Her family in public seemed normal and happy but behind doors it was yelling and sadness. As if it was falling apart. Her parents didn't know she listened to what they would say.
Her friends were her way to vent but she never really vented. She would make up other realities to disappear from the real world. People told her to grow up, stop acting like a child, act your age, you won't last in the real world. It was a lot of negativity for her to handle. She tried to do as told but something was always stopping her.
She has a few people that know more than others. She only opened up to 3 people her 2 best friends and her boyfriend. Yet somehow she still held back her true emotions from them.
She felt split between telling her true emotions and her thoughts or pretending that everything is fine.
