"Submerged"
Like silk running down my throat
Soft but burns all the same
As it fills my lungs
And the hands twisting out of my gut
Grasping for something so far above
And I know I could just push myself back up
But that would take the strength
That you took away from me
I drowned while I was fighting for you
Because I forgot to breath
