Marvel One Shorts(Iron Dad)

A Sad Reunion

Context a sad idea of the reunion between Iron Dad and Spider Son(using soul stone theory)

A big burst of orange of light covers the street and soundings areas. All civilians had been evacuated and the remaining avengers stand in a circle just like the iconic group shot in the middle of street. Thanos lays beaten on the floor the stones noticeably missing from the gauntlet. The glare dies down the dusted avengers now standing in front of them. In the middle is a young teenager his face covered under his iron mask. The young man looks around stoping at his mentor and father figure very quickly processing everything before retracting his mask. Reveling a very large grin covering his face tears welling up in his eyes. Tony exchanged the same expression to his *son*

Tony's hand is griped onto Steve's hand on one side and the newly named Professor Hulk's on the other. "Mr Stark!" Peter shouts
"Kid!" Tony shouts back before letting go of both Steve and Hulk's hands. The pair run towards each other for a long awaited hug. But when Tony goes running towards the kid something falls out of Steve and Tony's hands a small orange stone hits the floor bouncing up and down before settling on the concrete.

The two fall into a embrace tears falling down their cheeks. "I missed you so much Pete" Tony says softly. "I missed you too" Peter says back
"You have no idea how hard it's been without you you went so unexpectedly I wasn't sure what to do I should have worked harder I should have saved you it it......it should have been me."
Peter pulls back quickly making sure to look his mentor in the eyes quickly turning serious
"No don't you dare say that it's not on you this does not to be on your conscience you did everything you could and I am here now everything is ok we are all ok."
Tony smiled softly before turning to a frown "I am afraid it's not that simple kiddo."
"What why not?"

Tony quickly becomes light headed and falls to the ground. "Mr Stark!" Peter rushes to his side falling to his knees as flash backs to uncle Ben begin flooding his mind. "We have to get him to a hospital" Peter screams towards the Avengers The Avengers all look towards the ground their faces gloomy "What are you all just standing there for!"
A women steps out of the crowed a women Peter had never seen before "Peter" she says softly Peter ignores her. She repeats his name multiple times before finally shouting at the teen "Peter Parker can't you listen to me for 10 seconds" Peter turns around managing to shout back through tears "Who even are you!"
"There is no time for that what I need to understand is he....Tony took the full power of a infinity stone to bring you guys back we tried to talk him out of it but he wouldn't listen. Peter he is dying."
"No no no he can't be I just got back this isn't fair there has to be something we can do!"
"It's almost impossible to survive something like this Peter I am sorry I am surprised he lasted as long as he did"
"We have to try something if you are just gonna give up when things we hard what kind of hero's are you!"

"Peter" Natasha retreats from the circle to try to put her hand on Peters shoulder.
Peter swats it away "No no just stop I can't believe you are all just giving up like this I can't believe I looked up to you guys you guys don't even care about him he did so much for all of you and you are all just standing there and letting him die!"
"Peter Parker" Steve yells coming towards him. "You are upset I understand that but you dare say we aren't upset this is not easy for any of us."
"No you don't understand he was like a father to me and now I am never going to get to tell him."
The Avengers all got quite everyone but Rhodey "He knew" Peters head shot up
"What?"
"He knew Pete he always knew you were like a son to him you know"
"Really?" Peter said with a sniffle
"Oh yeah he had Friday save this folder called put it on the fridge protocol full of all these memories and pictures and videos he watched them on repeat well you were gone he really missed you kid." Rhodey said with a sad smile

A small groan is heard and Tony opens his eyes as he lays in Peter's arms. Peter is now sobbing and looks down at him with a soft smile "its gonna be ok Mr Stark your gonna be ok I promise."
Tony smiles back a small smile before managing "I know kid I know." Before resting back into Peter's arms.

T''Challa steps forward who had been watching with the other dusted avengers this entire event unfold. "I don't know if we can save him especially considering the recent events but it's the best shot we have so we can try if you want"
Peter nods and says "thank you thank you so much" quietly though his sobs before loading him onto a quinjet.

Two Weeks Later
Tony is in a coma being taken care of by Shuri and world renowned doctors in Wakanda. Peter visits when he can but it quite consumed by catching up on what he missed from school and understandably May doesn't wanted him leaving a lot because she just got him back. When Peter isn't visiting or catching up on school work he spends a lot of time thinking about everything that happened and looking at old pictures of him and Tony.

One day Rhodey appears at his door step with a flash drive. Peter answers the door is handed the flash drive and Rhodey leaves
Peter goes into his rooms and plugs into into the new computer Tony got him for his birthday. The screen lights up and a folder pops up labeled Put it on the Fridge Protocol. Peter feels a single hot tear come out of his eyes and he opens the folder. Photos of the two pop up at press confess and big headlines and newspaper clippings.

"Is Spider-Man Tony Stark's Secret Son?"
"Local Teens From Queens Win National Decathlon"
"Peter Parker Wins Queens Science Fair"
A couple more tears stream down Peters face as he begins to watch the videos. There are many videos Peter recognizes such as news footage from when he stoped the vulture or the many times he had saved his classmates. There was even the video diary from Germany which made Peter smile and some security footage from when the two were hanging out in the tower or lab. The footage goes on for a little while longer showing happy moments and heroic moments some of the funny voice mails Peter left Happy or Peter geeking out about the other Avengers and Tony's suits and gadgets. The footage comes to a stop and Peter lays back in his chair with a soft smile wiping tears from his eyes.

After about 20 or 30 seconds a video begins. Peter sits up and pears towards the screen the footage is very blurry and low resolution so it was hard to make out anything. However Peter could make out Tony close to death all alone stranded on a space ship the large scar covering his side and face from the battle on titan still fresh. Peter came to a realization this was shortly if not right after he well you know.. Peter sits up strait taking a deep breath before pressing play.

"Hey Kid so I don't know if you will ever see this in fact I am not sure if anyone will ever see any of these but I guess you know a small chance is better none right. Anyway as you can probably tell I am not in great shape. After........after everything I had to get onto this ship as my way back home. We ran out of a fuel a month ago not that it was doing much we don't know the way back anyway. We being me and Nebula you know the blue one. *sigh* and food and water ran out four days ago and oxygen runs out tomorrow so this is my goodbye message I guess. If they ever do find a way to bring you back I just want you to know it's not your fault you have nothing to be sorry for. Kid I hope you know that. I don't want this to scare you off I completely understand if you need a break trust me I could use one after all this I can't even begin to imagine what this is like for you but you are doing so many amazing things helping so many people super powers or not. I am so proud of you and you are gonna do great things. When we first met which feels like both yesterday and a lifetime ago you told me that when you can do the things you can and you don't and then the bad things happen they happen because of you. I am so sorry I failed I didn't do all I could and now this is happening because of me. Peter you are like a son to me I want you to know that before I go you have been a light in a world that I am not gonna lie can get pretty grime for me. So never lose that always fight for what's right and know I will always be proud of you. Until then see you around Spider-Man."

Hi guys this is my first piece in a while so this is more just me writing down my ideas so if doesn't flow well or it doesn't make sense is some parts I apologize
