Rachel's pov

It's officially the day where my family goes to California!! I am beyond excited but I am going to miss my finn and my baby so much, I'm already in the bathroom getting ready to leave,, I had on a sweatshirt and leggings with vans on and then I heard footsteps coming towards the bathroom

"Hey babe" I heard finn say tiredly

"Hey what are you doing up? It's 5:30 and it's Saturday?" I asked him while I put my mascara on, I'm only doing light makeup

"Well I wanted to kiss you goodbye and then I have to go to my moms house anyways so I decided to wake up now" finn tells me with his arms wrapped around my waist

I turn around and look at his tired face "awe I love you" I said then kissed his lips

"I love you more" he then returned the kiss

We were about to kiss again once we heard Brayden start crying through the monitor "saved by the bell" I said getting out of his arms to go and take care of my crying baby.

I get outside of my room to see my parents dragging their bags to the living room and Noah tiredly walking down stairs they are about to talk to me when I shake my head no and go inside Braydens room to see my 3 month old son crying and waiting to be fed

"Hi mr hungry, yes I know it's time for food" I said getting him situated for feeding.

Once he is almost done finn comes through the door "hey babe your mom said it's almost time to go" he said closing the door

"I don't wanna leave you or Brayden I'm going to miss you guys so much" I said with tears coming down my face

"Hey hey it's just two weeks and I'll send you photos of him everyday and we will FaceTime when you aren't busy also guess what" finn said wiping the tears off my face

"What?" I questioned

"I love you so much rachel nothing is going to happen because my mom will be there helping and Kurt also Burt the best uncle and grandpa ever.. everything will be okay I promise you 100% can you trust me?" Finn asks me he then sees Brayden has literally fallen asleep on me so he takes him and puts him back in his crib

I get up to fix my sweatshirt
"finn that's a stupid question of course I trust you, I trust you so much I'm just scared to leave him for that long" I said to him as he looked at me

"You know I'm going to miss you so much" finn says coming closer to me to wrap his arms around me

"I'm going to miss you more" I said leaning in suddenly we got interrupted by Noah

"Okay love birds it's time for us to head to the airport" Noah said coming in quietly I nodded

"Okay finny I love you so much" I said kissing him deeply I then peer down to Brayden to see him sleeping I whispered "bye bye Brayden mommy loves you and will miss you so much be good for daddy" I kissed his head

*a few hours later*

We are officially in California I quickly take my phone out to see many notifications of photos from finn on Snapchat of Brayden and his doing tummy time a couple of him smiling and a video of finn saying "bray smile for mommy" I saw him tickle him and he let out a laugh "omg I caught your first laugh on video" he then said,, I started smiling as me and my family walked towards baggage claim in the lax airport

"Noah Rachel this your birthday present so you guys choose" my mom said to us I heard my dad whisper "Shelby they haven't been able to agree on things since they were 8 do really think they can agree on things now?"

"Dad we are almost 17 and I think we can agree with eachother now let's go to in n out I am STARVING" Noah says as I nod in agreement

"I agree let's get our rental" my dad then said as we got our luggage and went off to get our rental

Meanwhile with Finn and Brayden

Finns pov

"Brayden please eat for daddy you've done it before" I said to my fussy son

I keep trying to feed him and he just keeps crying I look at the clock to see it's 6pm so it's about 3pm in California where rachel is so I take my phone out to call her

"Miss me already?" I heard her beautiful voice say

"Always" I said to her

"Is everything okay? At home why the sudden call?" She asks me

"Brayden won't eat and he is being way to fussy right now and he just.. I'm a bad father Rach" I said to her with a worried tone

"Babe you aren't a bad father okay? Did Brayden take his naps? And at what times?" Rachel said

"Yes one at 10:30am and another at 4pm" I said truthfully

"Okay and is everything cleaned? Did you rock him?" She asked with a serious tone

"Rachel I tried everything and it's 6pm which is feeding time and he just won't take the bottle" I said to her

"Okay set him down then put your phone on speaker so he can hear me" she told me

"Okay" I said then went to do all of that

"Everything good?" She asked me

"Yup do what you gotta do babe" I said to her

"Okay, bray it's mommy you have to be very good for daddy he is trying his best to feed and take care of you I know he doesn't feed you often but you have to let him okay mommy loves you very very much I'll see you in two weeks baby boy okay finn take it off speaker now so we can talk" Rachel says

"Thank you babygirl, I couldn't do this without you" I told her she then laughed

"I feel like once I get home I should let you feed him more often instead of me so he knows you more but I can tell he will become a mommas boy" Rachel said with a laugh

"I love my little man and maybe after these weeks he will become a daddy's boy haha" i said he then heard yelling the background of where rachel is

"Hold on babe- Noah you guys can wait one minute,, I think I might have to go now I love you and I miss you so much give Brayden kisses for me" Rachel said

"Always babe I love you more bye" I said he heard rachel mutter a bye and hung up

I pick Brayden back up "okay little man let's try this again" I said seeing he took the bottle much more easier

I miss rachel and I can't wait for her to be in my arms again.
