When You and Him Play The Pocky Game

Lunch time is finally here and I'm relieved that it arrived so quickly after surviving Math class because there's something I wanted to try.

A game that I've been curious about ever since Ashido kept rambling about food and the topic of couples - since I'm the only girl in the class who has a boyfriend.

- Flashback -

"Oh, the Pocky game?"

Ashido nodded and squealed with excitement while the other girls just laughed.

"Yeah, I've heard of it. What about-"

"You should give it a try with your man Todoroki, (Y/N)!", Ashido suggested like she's my love guru.

I blushed from hearing 'your man Todoroki' and I couldn't help but smile like a dork.

"That actually sounds like a good activity for a couple like you guys!", Hagakure commented, "I bet its going to be super cute!".

"I agree~!!", both Uraraka and Ashido said in sync. 

"Plus, this would increase your bond with Todoroki more", said Asui in a matter-of-fact tone as she lift one finger.

Jirou and Yaoyorozu nodded in agreement with smiles.

I laughed at their excitement and said, "I guess I should give it a try during lunch time then".

"Yay~!!", all of my female Class-1 A classmates said in the same time.

I scratched the back of my neck with a shy smile.

"Give us the juicy details if things are 'heating' up if you know what I-"

"A-ASHIDO!!"

- Flashback Ended -

"Hey, want to head to the rooftop again, Shoto~?".

Todoroki looked at my direction with his usual stoic expression but as soon as he saw me smiling at him with excitement, he smiled back at me.

"I would love to", he simply replied and got up from his seat.

I pumped my fist in the air and we both head to the rooftop together while holding hands.

TIME SKIP

We finally finished our lunch and we decided to hang out more so I can grab the opportunity for us to play the Pocky game before the bell rings.

I looked over my pocket which the chocolate flavored Pocky is hidden inside and looked back at Todoroki.

"Hey, there's a game that I wanted us to play together", I said and gulped, thinking whether Todoroki would play or not.

"Hmm, a game?", he questioned.

I nodded and brought out the Pocky box from my pocket.

"I have here a box of chocolate Pocky and each of us has to bite the end of each stick", I said and took out one stick from the box, "The goal is that who ever gets the big piece through biting the stick wins!".

He mouth an 'ohh' and placed a finger on his chin.

"I never heard of that game before...", said Todoroki then after realizing what the purpose of the game is, he gave me a competitive smile, "But it sounds interesting so sure, why not?".

An excited smile appeared on my lips and without adieu, we begin the game.

I bit the end of the stick while Todoroki scooted a bit closer and bit the other end.

"Ready?", I mumbled from the stick I was biting.

He nodded and after silently counting from three, we started biting the stick bit by bit.

It was a gentle and slow start of the game and as soon as we saw the middle part of the stick, both of our expressions lit up with determination.

'I need to bite it before he does!'

I muster up the courage to get the bigger piece by taking a big bite but unfortunately, he beat me right to it in a fast but careful pace and our lips collided after he took the big piece.

My face started turning red from the soft contact of his lips against mine and as soon as he let go, his cheeks were burning too but he had a playful smirk on his face.

"I win", my dual-haired boyfriend said.

"S-So fast", I replied and tried to calm down my heated cheeks before continuing to speak again, "Another one! I'm not giving up!".

He raised a brow and I took out another Pocky stick from the box.

"Another one?", he questioned but he gave me lop-sided smile, "Sure, round two it is, my love".

Both of us bit at the end of the stick at same time and started munching it away then it started getting faster again.

'Here it goes'

Just when I was about to get the bigger piece the second time, Todoroki leaned against me just so he could have the opportunity to bite it on time, making our lips collide once more but this time our tongues almost touched (omg, i'm sorry haha xD).

After that sudden strategy of his, my face is red as a tomato and my heart can't stop beating.

"I win again", Todoroki said and smirked, "Want another round?".

I was having second thoughts after experiencing that attempt and eventually, I shook my head quite rapidly.

"N-No no, I surrender!", I said and looked away to hide my red beat face, "You win, Todo".

He noticed how red I was and the way I talked so he got closer and gently poked my cheek.

"Your face is like my hair now", he commented.

"O-Oh shush", I replied and hid my face.

He chuckled from my shy response and said, "Now I can retrieve my award for winning this game".

"Wait, award?-"

I stopped talking when he brushed his lips against mine for another batch of kisses before he hugged me really close.

My heart was beating even faster than earlier but my lips were now curling into a smile from his warm and sweet gesture.

"Thank you for this, (Y/N)", he spoke softly against my ear and kissed the side of my face.
