"Baobao, wake up, wake up."

I felt someone shake me vigorously. Recognizing the voice immediately I whined.

"Wenhan, stop it! I'm trying to sleep—"

"Wake up, if not, I'll take all your sweets."

I immediately jumped up. No one will take my sweets on my watch. I quickly went into the bathroom and took a morning shower as well as brushed my teeth. I was too lazy put on makeup, so I just went barefaced.

"Yuan Ying, hurry up! We're gonna be late!!" Guan Yue ge called from outside the bathroom.

"Ok, ok I'm almost done."

I put on my white t-shirt and black shorts. The wore my blue sweater on top. I wasn't really disappointed when I got a B since I got a B in produce 48 as well. I tied up my hair in a ponytail and left the bathroom.

"Finally. " Jia Yi sighed as he went to get himself ready.

After all of us changed, we left to the cafeteria to get food. I grabbed a tray of food and sat with the yuehua boys since I didn't really know anyone else other than my roommates. We talked and laughed until it was time to go to practice.

Time skip

I flopped on the ground after 2 hours of dance practice. It was only the first day, but it was so tiring! This theme song was way harder than Nekkoya (a/n: facts only). But  since I was fairly good at dancing, I learned the choreography pretty fast. I take a big gulp of water. And observed my classmates that were still practicing. There were some really good dancers like wenhan, guan yue, Jia Yi, etc. But there were some that were struggling.

I look over to Wang jiayi. He was one of the people that caught my eye at the ranking auditions. He seemed like a dreamy person that is too innocent for this world.

He seemed to be struggling quite a bit. I put down my water bottle and walk over to him. He seemed so immersed in trying to dance that he didn't notice my presence. I lightly tapped his shoulder and he jumped slightly. He turned over to look at me and gave me a warm smile.

"Hey, do you need help?"

"Yeah......I kinda can't get this part." He blushed slightly and shrugged his shoulders gently.

"Let me help you. Okay, first you go, one, two, three, four, one, two, three, four....."

I said, teaching him the steps one by one. He nodded and slowly started to learn the dance.

Soon after that, Xu Minghao and Jolin mentor came in for a short class. Luckily, I had taught Wang Jiayi the dance just a few minutes ago. He watched us dance and complimented Sone of us and gave us some tips to improve our dancing.

He left once it was getting late. Soon, the number if trainees in the practice room started decreasing and Wang JiaYi and I were the only ones left. But, he soon left after it turned 3 am.

"One, two, three, four, one, two, three, four...."

My voice echoed along with loud sound of the theme song. I kept replaying the dance practice video to find any details that I missed. I was exhausted, but I decided to keep on practicing. After all, the harder you work, the better you become. 

When I was dancing, the door suddenly opened, showing Xu Minghao mentor. He was dressed differently than before and looked like he lived next door. He came in and asked me.

"Hey, are you still practicing? You should go back to the dorms and sleep. Its really late. "

"Its okay, mentor. I'm just trying to perfect the dance. I'll go back to the dorms soon."

"Do you need any help with the dance?"

"Kinda,I can't really make this part smooth. "

"Okay, so it goes like this, then like this, then like this. Get it?"

"Owhh okay, thank you mentor. You should get some sleep too. It's getting late. "

"You should too. Good night. "

He said while leaving the room. I should go check on other trainees, I thought as I left the room, making sure to turn of all the lights.

I walk towards C practice room. No one.
I walk towards D practice room. No one.
I walk towards F practice room. No one.

Just as I was about to walk towards my dorm. I crashes into something, or someone.

"Ouch!" He said, rubbing the red spot on his forehead.

"Owhh I'm so sorry, I didn't see you." I said apologizing while bowing.

"No, no, it was my fault as well, I wasn't look at where I was going."

I looked up at him and he was a C class member. He had fairly long hair covering his eyes and he was pretty tall. It was Yao chi. The little sunshine.

"Anyway, why are you still here, you should get some sleep. " he asked me.

"I could say the same about you."

"Well, I just finished practicing and was hungry. I'm gonna go to the cafeteria for some snacks. Wanna join?"

I contemplated for a while. I was indeed hungry, and I wasn't that tired. The boys wouldn't notice me being gone right?

"Sure! Let's go!"

I said enthusiastically. As he chuckled. Both of us then skipped towards the cafeteria.

I grabbed an apple and a coffee and he grabbed a granola bar and some tea. We started chatting and we hit it off almost immediately. Without realising, it was almost 5.30 am and the trainees had already started to flood the cafeteria. Nonetheless, we still kept talking until, Jia Yi pulled me away.
