The next morning, all of us gathered in the practice room to start learning the dance. The dance was playing on the big TV screen next to the mirror. So far until the chorus, everyone could get the overall movements. I instead, started learning the details. Soon, all of them had finish learning the overall dance.

"Guys, do you want continue dance practice or start vocal/rap practice??" I asked them.

"We should start vocal practice. I think we had enough dancing for now." Zhan Yu said.

All of us then sat down in a circle holding our lyrics. They started singing and when it reached my turn, I started rapping like I was supposed to.

"Its OK, 我学着自我救赎 my girl.
不在意一路上的曲折
忘掉了曾经的伤害
Don't wanna trap me now,
I'm on my road ay,
Never say no,
Never say no,
面对着世界我不想再后退
无论有多危险我不在后退。"

I ended the rap. Instead of continuing to sing, they all stared at me.

"Was there anything wrong?" I asked them.

"That was amazing. I didn't know you cold rap like that!" Shi Zhan gasped.

Even the other team clapped. I blushed and we continued practice.

Soon, the mentors came to instruct us. Our first class was dance with Jolin Mentor and Minghao mentor.

"Good morning everyone. Have you all learned the dance?" Jolin mentor asked.

The other team shook their head while my team nodded our heads hesitantly.

"We've learned the overall moves, but we haven't started on the details yet." I informed the mentors about the condition of my team.

"Very well then. Let's see Team A's progess first."

Our team started dancing and somehow, we were in sync despite not practicing the formation yet. When we finished dancing, most of us wiped our sweat of our forehead.

"For 1 day of practice, this is quite impressive. However, there are still quite some mistakes in your dance." Minghao mentor commented.

"Zhenning, can you give me a softer more gentle look when you turn back. Your glaze is a bit to strong."

"Ok" He answered looking a little disappointed.

"Who's the center?" MingHao asked.

Zhenning reluctantly raised his hand.

"Since this group has an extra member, I think adding another center will make the dance more interesting." Jolin said.

"But mentor, who would be the other Center?" Zhen Nan asked.

"In my opinion, Yuan Ying should be the other center. Her dancing is not bad and her stage presence is good." Jolin answered

"Ermm, OK. I'll try my best as the 2nd center." I said hesitatantly.

"Yuan Ying and Zhenning meet me after class, during break. We can discuss the changes in the choreography then." Both of us nodded.

"Team B, please show us what you have learned." Jolin then said.

Team B started dancing and honestly I was scared that we'd lose. They had some really strong vocalists and dancers. Not to mention, trained rappers.

After they finished dancing, Minghao gave them some pointer and class was over. Soon, it was our break and me and Zhenning went to meet our dance mentors.

"Ahh, you guys are here!" Jolin exclaimed.

"Good afternoon mentors." Both of us bowed while greeting.

"Let's get started with the new choreography, shall we?" We nod.

Minghao and Jolin then showed us they beginning of the dance and we followed closely. After learning all the choreo up to the hook, we took a break. To be honest, the choreography wasn't that much different. Instead of one person dancing in the center, it became 2.

"Guys, for the hook,I was thinking of doing a couple dance. That would make your performance much more interesting and unique." MingHao said.

When I heard that I immediately gulped. I have never done a couple dance before and I was nervous. I looked over to see zhenning looking a little uncomfortable and blushing slightly.  He noticed me looking at him for confirmation and he nodded his head.

"Ok then, we should start practice now before it gets late." I said

Minghao started to teach us the moves and boy were they different. Now I understand why Minghao asked us for confirmation.

The dance was pretty intimate. With zhenning's hands on my waist or holding mine for most of the time. There was even I part where we were supposed to be so close until we almost kissed.

We also had to lock eyes a lot. During this time, I realized how beautiful his eyes were. Sparkling and glistening. His smooth tan skin, and silky black hair. Never had I realized he was that handsome.

I seemed to be lost in thought. Until........

"Hey, earth to ying...... ying, are you okay??"

"Huh?!!" I snapped out of my train of thoughts.

"Are you okay? You zoned out for a while"

"Yea, I'm totally fine."
