Menna's POV
When I saw the blood from her head flowing down, my breathing became harsh and I was going in panic mode. She wasn't moving. She wasn't! I feel so angry at myself for taking her into the forest when I knew the risks but I still gave into her!
That's why we were not allowed to go outside without telling the mentors! They will notice that I'm still not back but what about Haya?
I noticed the masked man holding Haya and crying. What the hell!? Is he her father? Her brother maybe? He signalled to the other guy to bring me. I was still speechless as to why he was holding her. What is their relationship!?
He turned towards me and looked straight into my eyes. He had hazel coloured eyes and it somehow shows warmth whenever he looked at Haya.
"I am not going to hurt you or take you with me so you don't have to worry about it. Ghadir will untie you so if you scream it will be bad for you. We're taking her. Okay?"
I shook my head,"You can't! Who are you? What are you to her?"
He sighed,"You don't have to know that. You'll probably tell the police once we're gone...."
He had a nice hoarseness to his voice I had to admit. I shook my head but he said no more."She's bleeding, please help her. She's my only friend please."
He nodded and took out a hankerchief to dab on her wound. He puts pressure on it to stop it from bleeding. I couldn't help but look at him care for her while Ghadir untied me.
"If you take her then you have to take me too! Take me," I looked at him and stated.
"No, I can't." He growled as he carried her in his arms and the guy, Ghadir opened the car door for him.
He laid her down on the backseat and climbed in from the other side. He laid her head in his lap and kept putting pressure on the wound on her forehead.
I looked at Ghadir with tears in my eyes. I don't want them to take her and I cannot fight them off of her too. I'm no match for the two of them.
"Don't look at me like that," Ghadir stared at me and spoke gently.
He sounded familiar to me but I chased the thought away. I gave him those eyes again but he shook his head in a no. I could feel my tears and suddenly I sobbed.
Gadhir got down on his knees and looked at me. He put his hands on my shoulders and rubbed them to comfort me.
Unexpectedly, I hugged Ghadir. He held me as I kept sobbing and crying. I don't know why I felt attached to her but I couldn't let them take her.
"You cannot take her!" I pushed Ghadir off of me and yelled at both of them. The unknown guy still had Haya on his lap.
"Ghadir! Come, we have to go. Leave her behind!" He bellowed. I stopped Ghadir from getting in but he pushed me away. I fell and my head hit the rock.
"Oye!?" Gadhir shouted.
Who were they and why were they doing this to us? All these thoughts were swirling in my head. My head was hurting but then I felt a trickle of blood rolling down my left cheek. Shit!
"Ghadir, don't! Get in this instance. We need a doctor for Haya. She'll be fine, it's just a small bruise." He debated.
I heard the sound of the door closing. I couldn't let them take her and with that thought, I stood up, feeling a bit dizzy.
Even though I couldn't hold on long enough, I tried and beated on the door with all my might. I could feel my energy draining away but I kept going on.
"Open....t- the...door...." I uttered but the engine came to life and roared. I stepped back when I realised that they won't stop the car.
I stumbled back home, falling down few times due to dizziness. When I showed up at the driveway, I saw Zoot looking in my direction. He had this worried look in his eyes. He came running towards me when he saw blood on my cheeks.
I felt myself swaying from dizziness while I tried to catch my breath. My legs were giving out but Zoot held my arm and sling it over his shoulder to support me.
"Menna! Wat is er gebeurd!?" He asked still supporting me.
"H...haya"
"Haya? Menna, waar is ze!?" He yelled.
"Zij....Iemand heeft haar opge..pakt" and with that, I fall down unconscious.
Haya's POV
I felt drops of water? tear? fell on my face but my eyelids werw heavy. I couldn't seem to either open or move them. I could only hear voices.
"Haya, I love you. . . Please don't leave me!"
"Nothing will happen to her! Have hope! I am really worried for Menna..."
"Ghadir? Don't be worried. She'll be fine, it's a minor head injury. Not like Haya."
"The doctor is here bhai. You have to leave her so he can do a check up."
"Ghadir...."
"I know you don't want to leave her but it's for her health!"
I winced when someone pressured on my head with a towel? It hurts like hell! Ya allah itna dard!
Fit-e-Munh!
Ise kutte ki waja se yeh horaha hai.
But what occured in my mind was who are they? How do they know my name? Why did he say that he loves me!? Their voice seems familiar to me but I don't know where I've heard them.
While I was thinking over all this, something pricked my arm. An injection? It felt like one. I felt myself getting dizzy and sleep overtook me.
A/N - How was the chapter? How was Menna's POV?
Let me know how it is going so far. I'd be happy to get some tips and reviews.
