Sasuke x Reader Sequel

Capture?

I was called into Last Tsunade's office. When I arrived, I saw Sakura, Naruto, and Jiraiya were there as well. "What's going on?" I asked closing the door behind me.

"We think we have a way to find Sasuke." Sakura said to me.

"Really?" I asked and Naruto nodded.

"The plan is, to go after the Akatsuki member who will most likely run into Sasuke." Tsunade said.

"It makes sense but... What to do with Uchiha Itachi then, assuming we can capture him?" I asked.

"If we were to even capture even one member of Akatsuki, I think we could have Ibiki-san get intel on Itachi from them." Sakura said.

"It's true that there's already an order for capturing members of the Akatsuki, when and if at all possible..." Lady Tsunade said.

"But that'll prove difficult, right?" I turned to see it was Kakashi, standing by the door.

"Getting information from them won't be that simple in the first place." I added.

"The ones we've seen already are far too dangerous." Kakashi said closing the door behind him as he walked in.

"There isn't even a chance to consider capturing them." I added and Kakashi nodded in agreement.

"So, what do we do?" Naruto asked Kakashi and I.

"Until we happen to find Itachi, all we can do is remain calm and search." He said and glanced at me. I looked down at my feet.

~Meanwhile... ~

"Are Itachi and Sasuke the only Uchiha left, granny?" the girl asked her grandmother

"There is another, but she is only half Uchiha... but she went missing a long time ago.. she may not even be alive any more... I remember her mother bringing her here. She fell in love with someone outside of the Uchiha clan and had a child. Sadly the father had to go fight in the war... he died in battle. Then one night, when the child was only a year old, was taken from her home. Her mother didn't live with the other Uchihas then, she lived in the house that her husband bought for them. But after her daughter was kidnapped, she returned to the Uchiha compound, and her parents helped her find another husband, and they had a son a year later. That son of hers grew to be great friends with Itachi. She died shortly after, and her husband remarried so that his son would grow up with a mother, even if it wasn't his birth mother." Nekobaa said to her grand daughter.

(Reader is around 2 when Minato and Kushina found her and adopted her into their family)

"I see.. and that little girl?" she said nodding as she cleaned up the area after helping Sasuke and his new teammates.

"Since no one from the Uchiha clan ever saw her except for her parents, they wouldn't have been able to tell who she was, even if she was walking next to them. She had inherited her father's red hair, but had the classic onyx Uchiha eyes." Nekobaa said.

"So it's possible she is still alive?" the granddaughter asked and her granny nodded.

"Yes, it is." she said.

(Sorry the time line is kind of weird and the ages are kind of confusing ...)

"So then, we find Itachi, and then what?" Jiraiya asked.

"About that.. I have an idea. Could you give me some time?" Kakashi asked.

Tsunade allowed it, and she dismissed everyone. Kakashi looked at me and I looked away. "Come." he simply said and I walked with him.

"What do you want?" he asked.

"Do you know how to find him?" he asked.

"No." I answered. "I never game him my kunai, or marked him." I said.

"Are you sure you have no idea where he might be?" he asked.

"Even if I did, Itachi is still my friend. Even if he is a wanted rouge ninja, I won't betray him..." I said and walked away.

After a while we were all called out to the main gate. We were also told to wear our white hooded cloaks. I arrived seeing Captain Yamato, Kakashi, Naruto, Sakura, Sai, Hinata, Shino and Kiba, with his dog, Akamaru. "I see, you've thought this out well." Tsunade said looking t all of us gathered together.

"Hey, shouldn't we have more people than this?" Naruto asked.

"It's not a matter of manpower. In this situation, we shouldn't have more than one team of 2 platoons. While assuming our target is a squad of 2 people, having more than 3 squads would make us easily detectable, making giving orders hard, and lower our mobility." Kakashi said.

"These are techniques designed for capturing, rather than killing." I said pulling the hood of my white cloak more forward to block the rain.

"As for coordinating the squads, it's smarter to pick members who are used to working together." Jiraiya stated.

"Well, for now, this is the best we have." Tsunade said.

"I'd like for better weather than this, now that we're moving out." Kakashi said as he stepped out into the rain.

"Alright! Let's get going!" Naruto said.

"This rain is perfect for cooling down the ones who are getting fired up." Kiba said, and his dog Akamaru barked in agreement.

"Then, I hereby assign you the mission of locating and capturing Uchiha Itachi! Be careful and watch out for each other backs out there!" Lady Tsunade said to us, and we all answered with a "Yes, ma'am."
