On the 12th hour of the 1st of October 1989, 43 women gave birth. This is unusual in the fact that non of these women had been pregnant once the day began.

Sir Reginald Hargreeves made it his mission to adopt as many of these children as he could. He managed to get 7. As soon as he got the children home he started to notice that they had unbelievable powers so he started to train them!

As the children got older Klaus and Ben started to show signs of fear. Which caused them to resilience to using their powers or try and make them go away in some way or another.

Ben was never the most keenest of people to show case their remarkable powers even when he's dead. Ever since, that day Ben has stuck by Klaus's side no matter how annoying he would be and the fact that Klaus was the only person that could see him.

His siblings always remember that day, the day that it all went wrong but they don't exactly know what happened. People think Ben was trying to impress Luther and his father, which caused the dreadful incident that cost him his life. But to be honest the family could've played a part.

In memory of Ben they built a statue in the back garden that read, "Let the darkness within you find peace in the light." And Luther named his robot after him whilst he was on the moon. So they could keep his memory alive.
