The Umbrella Academy | Ben Hargreeves

Chapter 1

"Today was the day!" the whole umbrella academy shouted with excitement apart from Klaus and Ben who were trembling with fear.

It was time for there very first mission. "Your mission today is to stop a bank heist" explained Mr Hargreeves.

Once they had all got explained the plan, they set off jumping around with glee because the world were going to know that they existed and what they could do. Ben and Klaus were still not happy, but that soon changed when Luther came up to Ben and glared down at him saying, "Ben cheer up we're showing off our powers this is going to be so much fun, so start to act like it." That quickly changed Bens mood as he started to jump around in front of Klaus looking thrilled. "Ugh Bens got to stop letting people push him around and let them chose how he should feel." Klaus thought to himself, watching Ben aimlessly throw himself around.

[3 hours earlier]

Me and Mum were about to go to the bank to collect some money, hoping that after I could this toy I've been wanting for a while. A my little pony collectible.

As we were walking down the Ontario street looking at all the magnificent buildings in closing us. That's when a beige house like mansion caught my eye it had umbrellas fixed into the gates and windows; it looked really cool.

That bank was insight, I've never been in one before and to be frank I couldn't wait!

Once we stepped inside my eyes lit up it looked so fancy all the staff were wearing suites and ties, not to mention gorgeous dresses. The marble paved floors, the sandy walls and beautiful paintings safety inclosed by a gold barrier surrounded me and my mum it was breathtaking. Eventually we sat down to our consultation when a loud ruckus shook the room.

Four men scurried shouting, "Give us the money it no one gets hurt!" As they held large guns aiming at all corners of the room. Shrieks of fear started to fill up the room as everyone started to panic. One of  men started to wonder over to me and my mum so I swiftly push my arms round her so we're stuck together, whilst the others started to viscously grab the other terrified people and wrapping their arms in duck tape and placing it over their mouths so they couldn't scream. Then continuing to throw them in the corner huddled up together.

The man eventually got to us quickly ripping us apart causing me to gravitate to the floor with a thud. The man grabbed my mum and duck taped her wrists and mouth like the other victims of the heist. Once doing that he threw her with the others.

Now his attention was on me.

He grabbed me of the hard marble floor and chucked me on to his broad shoulder. I tried to wriggle out but he just tightened his firm grip which was restricting my lungs. I could see my mum sitting helpless in the corner as she tried to scream my name whilst a single tear streamed down her worried face.

The man was thudding over to a glass door where all the other men had gone apart from two, who were guarding the people to make sure they wouldn't escape. Slowly he began to open the door unleashing a new part of the bank. It was the room where all the money was stored, they had hit the jack pot. Suddenly, the over sized man placed me down as I looked deeply into his eyes as multiple tears of terror slid down my face.

"Why'd you bring her?!" One of the men questioned him with cautiousness running threw his raspy voice.
"Incase some one comes, she'll be our protector . If the police come in we come out the door with a gun to her saying, we'll shoot!" He smugly said to the others. They nodded. Their attention was now on me. My body began to violently shake as I let out a big scream for help! Hoping someone might come. The man grabbed me wrapping my wrists and mouth in duck tape to stop me from screaming and threw me into the corner of the room.
