Phoenix's pov

I woke up in a fetal position with a white furl ball all up in my face

"Sushi, move" i groaned

She barked and licked my face before jumping off the bed and darting out the room

I sighed

I slowly got off the bed and walked into the bathroom, my body was still in pain but it was numb

I brushed my teeth and took a shower washing my long hair

After my shower i got dressed in a plain white shirt and a pair of tight blue jeans with some tattered converse

I dried my hair and put it in a loose ponytail

I grabbed my bag and crept down the stairs slowly not wanting to anger my dad

He was knocked out cold on the couch

I grabbed sushi and slowly and quietly slipped out the house closing the door behind me

I got into my old car and drove to school, traffic was thick as usual

I made is to school early and left sushi with the janitor, I don't trust my dad being alone with her...she isn't safe at home so I keep her in my room at all times

I made my way down the hall looking for my boyfriend, Cole

He made me love coming to school everyday and he made me look on the brighter side of life

He says I'm his pretty princess

I giggled at the memory as heat rose to my already rosey cheeks

I got a wiff of his scent around the corner so I turn and bumped into him

"Good morning beautiful" he said before planting a deep kiss on my lips

I blushed and wrapped my arms around his neck enjoying the closeness and the heat radiating off his body

I broke the kiss and gave him a bright smile

"Good morning" I whispered

He ran his large hand over my swollen cheek, his eyes filled with worry

"Did he do this to you?" He growled

"Its fine..I-I just tripped over sushi and fell and hit my face thats all" he seemed to take my answer and chalked it up to me being clumsy again

"Be more careful sweetpea don't wanna ruin that pretty face of yours"

I gave him a weak smile

"Of course not"

He grabbed my hand and walked me to class giving me one more kiss before he left saying he had homework to finish up

'Why can't you see through his act Phoenix?'

'it isn't an act Nicki, he likes us and so does his wolf Tyler'

'He only wants sex, can't you see that!?'

I huffed and rolled my eyes shutting off the connection

(Time skip)

It was now lunch time and I was really excited to see Cole again

I walked to his class not finding him odd enough,maybe he is in the cafeteria like last time

While making my way down the empty hall I could smell Cole and somebody elses stench mixed

I cautiously made my way to the source only to find something I wish I hadn't seen

My stomach dropped and my heart felt like it weighted a ton

Glued to my locker was Cole and some tramp I've never seen before, tongue tied, shirt open, hair all messy and shit

The guy had his legs wrapped around Cole's waist

I let out a tinny whimper and my heart shattered into a million pieces

The two of them froze

Cole pulled away and dropoed the small boy

"Baby...this is not what it looks like, I was jus-"

"Stop lying now Cole, god" the unknown guy rolled his eyes

"Im Cole's boyfriend, and we've been seeing each other for 3 months now, while you lasted about 4 or 5 months thats as much as your relationship" he snickers

I turn to Cole in disbelief

My mouth went dry and now words could be formed

He looked down in guilt

"I'm sorry princess, its just that...I was looking for something more and he was willing to go along with it so I kinda said why not..."

My body felt numb and not the good kind

Fat tears rolled down my cheek as I sniffled, my heart hurts too bad

My wolf whimpered

I slowly backed away shaking my head still in disbelief

Cole tried to reach for me but I ran off, I picked up sushi and ran out the school hopped into my car and sped away

I kept crying while both sushi and nick whined

(Ten mins later)

I honestly felt nothing, I just felt numb and dead inside

After driving for who knows how long I parked at this shady looking forest

I guess I just need to run or something

I jumped out the car and took sushi with me

I took oof my clothes and shifted into my wolf form, I shook out my ginger fur and stretched only to see sushi doing the same thing

I licked her cheek and started to jog around the area

After a few good minutes and me and sushi we're sprinting and playing around

It was wonderful to get me mind off Cole for a while until I stopped and shifted back

My bare back presssed against the tree as I slid down it not really caring if I'm hurt or not

I jus sat there before bursting into tears, my whines and whimpers filled the forest

It sounded so sorrowful

I felt pathetic and so small,smaller than I already was

'It wasn't fair,how could he do this to me!?'

Sushi whinned and put her head between her paws

I'm tired of it all

Just then I heard a twig snap, my body froze in place as I lifted my blood shot eyes to see a tall man with silver hair and light brown eyes

"Who are you" his voice stern

I shivered from fear

"I-I'm Phoenix.." I whispered

"What are you doing in our territory?" He demanded

His face was blank

"I got lost, I didn't know a pack was here" I whispered

Feeling disgusted by his eye roaming my naked figure

He started to unbottin his shirt and I started to panic, I was gonna get raped in the woods and left for dead

"Calm down pup nothing is going to happen,put that on and come with me" he assured me

He threw his shirt at me

"Turn around"

He did so

I still didn't trust him so I went behind the tree,throwing the large shirt over my body

Obviously it wouldn't fit as the sleeves passed out my fingers long ago and the shirt was at my thigh

I move from behind the tree picking up sushi

"Now lets go were going to meet the Alpha"

I sighed I might just die after all
