Kyle sat beside Phoenix's sleeping figure, stroking his hair while staring at his enlarged stomach
He smiled
"I know you're sleeping and you probably can't hear me but I hope you wake up soon, Aiden is a mess"
His brows drew together due to concern for his Alpha and Luna
"And plus, I would love to get to know you, though we only spoke once. Not much a people person, but I have no one to talk to" he sighed
"I'm pregnant as well and I haven't told Kade yet, I don't know how to tell him, I guess I'm just scared of how he'll react, I mean, he is the Beta for the pack maybe he isn't ready for a big family"
He looked off into the distance,clearly distressed
"Oh well, I'll just get going" he got up and left
As soon as his small frameeft the window opened
Kyle's pov
As I walked down the hall I stopped dead in my tracks
"Shit, my bag" I face palmed
I hurriedly made my way back to the room
I was about to open the door when I saw a figure standing over Phoenix
The only thing I could do make out was a head of short blond hair which I'm guessing belonged to Shane
I was about to barge in and ask him what in fucks name was he doing there when he spoke up
"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't cut those abominations out of you" he said, voice dripping with venom
I had to hold in the gasp that I so desperately needed to let out
'Oh my god'
"I hate you! Why couldn't you have died!?"
My eyes were the size of a full grown horse's balls by now
"If you die, Aiden will love me, eventually"
He brought his hands over his head and the shiny metal glistened in the light of the bulb
I flung the door open and tackled his ass to the floor
He managed to slice my atn which I can only describe as having a paper cut 10c with salt mixed into it
But with one carefully planned punch to the jaw, I knocked him out cold
"I might be an omega but I train with my mate everyday" I snarled
I heaved a sigh of relief and subdued Shane
I held my bleeding arm
'Kade, where are you?" I mind linked him
'Just walked in the hospital, why?'
'Shane tried to stab Phoenix, I don't know what's happening right now, I managed to knock him out though'
'Shit, I'm almost there'
Few seconds later my mate burst through the door
"Let me see your arm'
I lifted my aching arm to show him the deep cut
"It will heal soon, but let me dress it just incase. I called Aiden and told him, he'll be here soon, good job babe"
He gave me a peck on the lips
"Stay here I'll be back"
He kissed me again before leaving
He has some explaining to do
