The Return

Phoenix's pov

Its been a few days since I've awoken and to say Aiden has being nice is an understatement

How can a giant like Aiden mean and all turn into a loveable mate over the spand of 2 days

I don't know but thank the moon goddess

Right now we were cuddling in bed

"Hey" he whispered into my small chest

"Yes" I questioned as I ran my fingers through his untamed hair

"I'm sorry" he raised his head to look me in the eyes

"For what?"

"I know I've been a complete asshole to you since you got here and I wanna make it up to you this weekend"

He pecked me on the lips, my face grew hot as he chuckled

"O-ok"

He smiled alittle and I couldn't help but admire how beautiful he truely was

I sighed out of satisfaction as he dug his nose into my scent gland

"I have a friend coming back tomorrow"

"Ok from where?"

"A neighboring pack had offered him the opportunity to see if he could find his mate"

I raised a brow

"Oh I see, how long has he been gone for?"

"He left a day before we found you, lets say a good while now"

I yarned

"Get some sleep"

I nodded before drifting off to sleep into a deep sleep

(In the morning)

I rolled over tapping the cold space beside me expecting to Aiden to be there

I squinted my eyes slowly opening them only to get face fucked by the sun

I groaned

Getting out of bed I headed to the bathroom, took a quick shower, brushed my teeth then got dressed

I walked down stairs drying my hair

Only to walk into the kitchen and pause seeing Aiden cooking and an unknown guy oggling my mate

I mentally frowned and my wolf growled

"Good morning baby" Aiden basically chirped

He came and kissed me on the cheek

"Good morning" I whispered taking a seat beside the guy

I studied him a bit, he had short bleached blond hair with dark brown roots,he also had a straight nose high cheek bones and of an elegant but sneaky vybe to him

"Baby this is Shane"

I politely smile and he did the same except his was fake

"This must be your mate I presume"

Aiden beamed with pride making me flush bright red

"Yeah, hes gorgeous isn't he?"

My face heated up even more

"Yes of course he is, nice to meet you, I'm Shane as you may know already"

He stuck his hand out which I did'nt wanna shake but took it anyway and smiled

"I'm Phoenix, nice to meet you too"

He shook my hand roughly and sqeezed it tightly and I did the same

I pulled away having the sudden urge to bash his face in

I got a bad feeling about this guy

"Babe I'll be back, going to get something"

"Ok" I said as he left

Shane turned to me and gave me a nasty smirk

"Your really his mate? I have to say I'm disappointed"

I glared harshly

"Yeah so what? You have a problem?"

He chuckled

"Well yes, look at you, just disgusting, your just a play thing, something used and the only reason why your still around is because you can have pups and carry on the alpha blood line after that he'll toss you to the wind like garbage"

I growled loudly about to tear his throat out when Aiden came back

"Something wrong Phoenix?"

I threw one last glare at him and huffed shaking my head

"No just getting along, right Shane?" I said through gritted teeth

"Of course" he then let out an annoyingly high pitch giggle

My wolf snarles

'he needs to die'
