Weekend Get Away

Phoenix's pov

Its now Saturday and Aiden was taking me out for the day

Lets just say Shane wasn't too happy about that

The day his bum ass stepped in hes been calling me names and pushing me around but this morning he hit me like smacked me across the face and I retaliated and scratched him back in the face, he stormed off as if I gave a fuck

I know he was in love with my mate and he wasn't going to have him, over my dead body

Anyways Aiden said where we were going was a surprise and we were to stay until Monday afternoon

I packed my things as Aiden packed them into the car

I looked up at the pack house only to see Shane standing at a window looking down at me with a crazed look and demented smile

A shiver ran down my spine

"Hey, come on Phoenix we need to go"

I looked down to see Aiden staring at me

"Oh......um......yeah" I nodded then backed up at the window but Shane was gone

I sighed deeply and my brows drew into a frown

He is going to cause alot of trouble

I hopped into the car closing the door behind me

Shortly after Aiden entered and we began our journey to god knows where

Thinking back to what happened earlier with shane

(Flashback to earlier)

I was packing my stuff but stopped seeing him standing in the door frame

I scoffed and rolled my eyes

"What do you want?"

He giggled annoyingly

"Oh nothing just checking on my friend's mate"

He put an emphasis on mate making me growl

"I see your packing, what Aiden got tired of his fuck toy?"

I rolled my eyes

"Actually no, Aiden is taking me out for the weekend,so we won't be seeing your ugly fucking face for a while" i laughed

The smug smirk on his face slipped off amd his cheeks became red from anger

Smack!

His hand connected to my face painfully

My claw extended as i let out a loud snarled

I dug my claws into his face, forcefully pulling it down leaving claw marks in his face

He screamed in agony blood dripping from his wound

"If you ever touch me again I'll kill you!"

"This isn't over bitch! Watch your back"

"Oh go get a fucking life you whore"

He stormed off as if I gave a flying fuck

(End of flashback)

Is he that obsessed with my mate?

Cause that obviously wasn't normal

"You excited?" Aiden asked

His voice snapping me back to reality

"Oh.....ugh yeah of course I am"

He frowned slightly

"Doesn't seem like it"

"Sorry, just thinking about something"

"What is that?"

'Should I tell him?'

'yes, you know that Shane isn't going to stop there' my wolf growled out

'yes I know that but we'll handle it, I mean how much trouble can one small fucking wolf do?'

'just be careful'

'yeah I'll tell Aiden if it gets out of hand'

"Oh...um about sushi, I haven't had time to check up on her and I'm a bit worried" I lied easily

He glanced in my direction and gave me a small smile

"Sushi is fine, I saw to it that Kade took care of her and hes keeping her till were back"

I smiled

"Good"

He pulled my hand and intertwined our fingers

My face heated up and I looked down bashfully

'we really need to tell him about shane' my wolf said again

'yeah but he doesn't need to know right now, I can handle it myself'

'If he gets too wild I'll rip his throat out'

I drifted of to sleep few minutes later
