Ashton's POV
OHGOD.OHGOD.OHGOD.OHGOD.
I just invited myself over to a strangers home. How creepy does that sound? Very I presume. I'm going to help him as a friend, right? There wouldn't be another reason... Lewis walked me towards his car and everything just felt awkward so I spoke up.
"Would you, um, like me to drive since you're all, sticky?"
"Yeah, sure, I'll give you directions," Lewis stated nervously. I chuckled as he handed me his keys, fingers in a buzzing shake. Our fingers slitghly brushed and I heard Lewis gasps and tingles spread through our hands. I brushed it of cause it obviously meant nothing. Lewis kept his head down while he walked to the passenger side of the car and I hopped into the drivers seat. When I got in, Lewis wasn't in yet, as he was struggling with the door. Leaning over, I pushed his door open for him.
"Today is really not your day, is it?" I joked with him.
"Its better than you may think," he mumbled slightly looking at me through the side of his eyes.
"Hey, you don't have to be nervous, I am a normal person." Lewis then perked up and I could tell he was warming up to me.
"I actually thought you were a normal person until last night. My best friend told me who you were..."
"Honestly?! I haven't met very many people these days that don't know that I am famous." Hmm, maybe I am starting to open up to him too, good friends?
It got awkward so I turned on the CD player. I was surprised to hear more of my songs. Lewis had a CD of all my songs now. As I flicked through the songs I gave a cheeky grin to Lewis. He blushed and squirmed in his seat.
"Don't blush. Plenty of people love our music". At this point I realized how arrogant I sounded and immediately took it back, "I'm kidding. It's sweet that you like our music. Thank you Lewis" I looked to the side and our eyes met. This is the first time I had seen his eyes properly. They were beautiful. They were blue but a very deep blue. But around his pupil he had a white ring, like a halo. Staring into his eyes was like staring into a black whole in space, and I could feel myself being pulled in.
We pulled up to a fairly nice looking complex of flats and we got on and went in. Turning to the left we were led to a staircase and we trudged up the stairs, Lewis' shoes squeaking at every step and a blush crept up onto his cheeks. Reaching the top level, we walked down passed multiple corridors and stopped in front of a door. Rumaging through his pockets, Lewis retrieved his keys and shoved them into the keyhole. Right when we got in, I looked in a small a small girl sitting on the couch with her headphones plugged in. Lewis slammed to door and the girl jerked her head up and when she saw me her mouth dropped.
"Ashton, this is Mia. Mia, you know Ashton. She was just leaving."
"Whaaaa, no I was-''
"LEAVE!" Lewis shouted
"I don't wann-"
"Bye Mia!" Lewis said as he pushed the girl, Mia, out the door and locked it.
"American?"
"She is the best one," Lewis chuckled. Spinning on his heels, he turned around and walked towards me. At this point I realized i really served no purpose here, since it wasn't my house and all. "Sooo.." Lewis said, realizing the awkwardness of the situtation.
"Sooo..." I responded. Damn me for being so awkward.
"I'm gonna go shower then, I am very sticky." I nodded, content at his reasoning. I really don't know why, but as he started walking towards his bathing area I was not hesitant to tip-toe behind him. Lewis was a good few feet infront of me and he disappeared behind a door. Pausing, I complentated on what to do. A rush of adrenaline ran through my veins and I stalked right in, standing behind Lewis. My chin rose a short 3 three inches above his shoulders. Our eyes caught again in the mirror and we were in a trance. This seemed to happen quite often and it was a quite odd sensation to experience.
Lewis was the one to back away and push me off when my hands started to wind their way around his torso. He tried to push past me and out the door, but he was unsuccesful when I took his wrists and jammed him up against the wall. Our hearts pounded in our chests as our panting was quickening. His eyes glanced down to my lips and I couldn't help do the same. Gosh, I think I am in like like with Lewis.
With that, my lips attacked his neck and a low groan erupts from Lewis. I trailed kisses up his neck and up his chin and across his jawline before tenderly attaching to his lips. Something that was once sensual, now has turned into two boys forcefully fighting for dominace.
"Wait, I don't think we can do this," Lewis said with no force at all as he rested his forehead onto mine.
"You're probably right," I panted. My phone then buzzed in my back pocket and I checked it to see it was a text from Luke. It read in all caps 'ASH WHERE IS YOUR ASS AT' "Shit."
"What, what is it?" Lewis chirped in.
"Urhm, I gotta go. I have a concert tonight, sound check starts in 15 minutes." I said as I started walking out the door, making sure Lewis followed me.
"Oh, um, okay?" an adorable Lewis commented.
"Hey, I could give you and your friend, Mia, backstage passes for the concert tonight. It starts at 7:30 so you guys come around 7 and meet the mates?"
"Oh, sure! Mia would love that. I would too, of course."
"Great! Sounds like a date." I didn't mean to say that. "I mean, I'll see you there." I quickly sputtered. Lewis laughed at me. He laughed at me.
"Alright we will see you there then. Shall I get your number?" Oh right, he needed that. I knew automatically that I could trust him. I motioned to him to pull out his phone and I typed in my number and texted myself so I too had his number.
"Thanks." I said and walked to the door. "Bye Lewis." I said seeing him shiver at my words.
"Bye," he said in awe.
When I was out the door, Lewis' friend Mia was right across the hallway in the doorway of another flat. She boldly smiled at me and we exchanged quick "hi's" and I walked to the stairs. When my foot hit the first step I heard her American voice travel down the corridors.
"Keep him safe."
I smiled to myself knowing I would do exactly that. I took it upon myself to try my hardest to make sure no one hurt Lewis, ever. I made my way back outside and called a driver to come pick me up.
