Chapter 8

Y/n pov

The boy who kissed my cheek ran out the room. The first person who hugged me started crying into a boy with curly hair and freckles chest and the last boy stood there. The girl hugging me just shook her head in disbelief. "N-no!" The boy holding the other boy with curly hair exclaimed "you have to remember me! She has to remember me John!" He cried. The boy who I guess is John shushed him "it's ok Alex" he said.  Alex I presume looked at me and walked over. The girl in the hello dress moved out the way "do you know your name?" He asked earning a nod from me "I'm y/n Hamilton" I said. Alex smiled a bit "well Y/n... I'm Alexander, your older brother" he said "I don't believe you" I said. The person who I guess was a doctor looked at Alexander "she will not remember anyone" he said "but we need to know if she knows the basics" he added

*Time skip*

A few test later I was free to leave the hospital. John's mother I think drove Alex and me home. Alex helped me out the car still trying to convince me that I was his sister, he did look familiar but when I walked inside the house. It all hit me. I looked around and found pictures of me and Alex, there were very few pictures of us and another women. I looked at Alex and memories started coming back to me left and right. "Alex!" I exclaimed making him look up from his paper, he quickly ran over to me "Are you ok!?" He asked worried. I nodded and hugged him "you ARE my brother!" I smiled and looked at him, he teared up and hugged me "I'm so sorry!" He said. I gently shushed him "it's ok" I said. I looked at a picture of a girl, two boys one older and one younger, a man, and a women. "Who are they?" I asked. Alex looked at the picture sadly "you don't remember them?" Alex asked. I shook my head "You didn't really know them that much and neither did I so I really don't blame you for that" he said, he pointed to the little girl that looked the youngest out of everyone else "that's you" he pointed to the first boy who looked a bit older than me "that's me" he moved to the next boy "James... our older brother... h-he died in a hurricane and I blame myself for it... he tried to save me and couldn't save himself.." Alex said trying not to cry as he moved to the man "that's dad... he moved away when I was 10 and you were 9" Alex growled "I don't know why he left us but he did. He left us broke when me and mom were sick" he said and moved to the woman "that's mommy... she died while holding me... you tried so hard to keep me and her alive... but you couldn't save her... I got better..." Alex said and put the picture back down. "You should rest" he said and led me to my room. "Sleep well" Alex said and left.
