Chapter 1: New Friends

Anna's POV: It's December here in Los Angeles. I think I'm ready to start my new life here in Los Angeles. I had to leave my Mississippi life behind. I'm still really good friends with the people in Mississippi, but I'm ready to start making new ones. It's 8am on a Monday. I'm on my way to a coffee shop. Coffee sounds good right now. I finally find a place and order something new. I get to the table and text my friend Myah, one of my friends from Mississippi.

Me: hey Myah what's up?

Myah: hey how's L.A.

Me: it's my first day here and it's ok, but the people are kind of rude.

Myah: it'll get better 😊

Me: yeah. Omg two guys just walked in.

Myah: and?

Me: they're coming over here, I'll FaceTime you later.

Myah: ok byeeee

I recognize them from a YouTube channel. They're the Dolan Twins. I don't get really starstruck by people. I am awkward around new people though.

"Hey", they both said.

"Hi I'm Anna, I know who you guys are so no need to introduce yourselves", I said.

"You do then why are you not freaking out", Grayson asked.

"I don't get starstruck over people, because I learn that they're normal people too", I said.

"That's fair", Ethan said.

"Did you walk here", Grayson asked.

"Funny story, I didn't know where I was going and I found this random coffee shop so yes I did walk here", I said.

"Take an uber, we will order you one", Ethan said.

"Ok but can you guys come with me I'm kinda scared to ride alone", I said.

"Yeah", they both said.

*time skip, 9am*

The twins are at my house. We are just chilling and talking. Myah was texting me, but I didn't have time to answer her.

"Where are you from", Grayson asked.

"Nobody knows where it is, but Mississippi", I said. They looked at me confused. I had to show them on a map where it was.

"Oh", they both said.

"Why'd you come to Los Angeles", Ethan asked.

"I wanted something different. Mississippi got boring, there was nothing to do. I felt like I was living in a small world instead of a bigger one. So, I graduated college early and moved out here", I said.

"That's amazing", Grayson said.

"Yeah, I miss my friends though. But we still keep in touch. Are you guys hungry", I said.

"Yeah", they both said.

I go into the kitchen and see if I could cook anything for the three of us. I hear my phone ring, it was a FaceTime call from Myah.

*FaceTime*

Me: heyyy Myah

Myah: heyyy what's up

Me: I'm about to cook some food

Myah: oooo girl you can cook?

Me: yeah

Myah: *whispers* are the boys there?

Me: yeah they're in the living room.

Myah: ok get it.

Me: nooooo lol

Myah: ok ok I gotta go to class and I'll be at basketball practice later so I'll text you tonight.

Me: ok bye Myah

I hung up the phone and continued cooking. I'm cooking macaroni and cheese, that's the only thing I have right now. I used almond milk instead of regular milk. I have a feeling I'm going to be really close friends with the twins. I really don't want to take advantage of them though. I mean I don't want people to think I'm using them for fame or something like that. I really hope Los Angeles doesn't change who I am. We all eat in silence. We are on our phones. I'm on Snapchat and I get a text from Anriel.

Anriel💖: hey did you make it to L.A.?

Me: yeah I did.

Anriel💖: any adventures yet?

Me: no maybe later.

Anriel💖: keep me updated and send pics.

Me: I will 💖

Anriel💖: coach yelling at me gotta go

Me: ok lol Byeeee

*time skip, 3pm*

The twins left. I'm in my house and thinking about life. I live in 2 story house. On the bottom floor is a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, and two extra rooms. I'm using one for a dance floor and the other room for a music room. On the top floor, I have my room and two extra bedrooms. One bathroom on the whole top floor and then another bathroom in my room. I also have a in-ground pool in the backyard. I laid down in my bed for a nap, but I really just end up going on social media for 2 hours. It's about 5pm. The twins text me asking if they can come over, I say ok. They finally show up after 30 minutes later.

"Ok so I was kinda rude earlier", I said.

"What", Grayson said.

"I forgot to give you guys a house tour", I said.

"Ohhhh", they both said.

I showed them both the house and they were pretty impressed. Of course, my dance room and music room is still a work in progress. We all decided that the twins will stay at my house tonight. We are just watching movies and being on social media. I went up to my bedroom, because I started to fall asleep around 11pm.
