Chapter 5: Oregon

Anna's POV: It's 6am. I'm leaving in 45 minutes for this long drive to Oregon. I text Anriel that I should be there tonight around 7pm or 8pm. She texted back saying ok. Then, I realized Grayson texted me. He texted me saying good morning be careful going to Oregon, text me or Ethan when you get there. I texted him back saying ok thanks I will don't worry. I go upstairs get all my stuff, making sure I have everything before I leave. I did another quick run through the house and put my stuff in the car. It was about 6:45am and I got in my car and got ready to go. I plugged in my into the aux and turned on my music and my GPS. This is going to be a long 12 hours.

*time skip, 12pm*

I stopped for gas 2 hours ago, now I'm stopping for food. As I'm getting food, Grayson calls me.

"How's it going", he asked.

"Just stopped for food, I'm so tired", I said.

"It'll be okay, be safe", he said.

"I will gotta go", I said.

"Bye", he said.

I finished my food and time to get on the road.

*time skip, 5pm*

I'm two hours away from Oregon, thank goodness, because I'm so tired. I'm never doing this type of trip again, that's on gas prices and food prices.

*time skip, 7pm*

Hello Eugene, Oregon. I'm here, finally. It's good to be here. I text Anriel saying I'm here and I'll meet up with them tomorrow. She texted back saying that they will leave tomorrow morning to go to the arena. I texted her back saying ok I'll meet you guys there. She texted back saying ok, that should be fine. I grab my phone and FaceTime Grayson. He picked up immediately.

*FaceTime*

"Hey Grayson", I said smiling trying to not be tired.

"You made it to Oregon yet", he asked.

"Yes, finally Eugene, Oregon", I said relieved.

"Why are you there again", he asked me confused.

"My friends are here for a basketball game against Oregon tomorrow", I said.

"Aw that's good that you get to see your friends", he said.

"Yeah it is, I will never make that drive again", I said.

"Ok goodnight then", he said.

"Goodnight", I said smiling.

I put my phone on the charger, put my pajamas on, and started tho king about things. I'm so glad I moved go California, but I'm really gonna miss my friends at Mississippi State. I'm still going to be in touch with them, it just won't be the same as it used to be. I'm so glad I met Ethan and Grayson at that coffee shop. I feel like I can trust them with everything, well not everything, you get it right. Anyway, life is going just how I want it and I appreciate it every single bit of it. My thoughts take over as I fall asleep.
