Chapter 9: Christmas

Anna's POV: It is December 25th. Over the past few days have been the same cycle over and over. Today is a big day, because the sister squad were uploading on YouTube. I'm such a big sister squad fan. I have watched every single video at least twice. I get a text from Ethan.

E: how are you doing?

Me: going insane

E: aww you miss us

Me: yeah I do. I'll see y'all at the beginning of January.

E: unless something changes.

Me: yeah

I didn't go to the coffee shop today. Alone on Christmas, my first time. I'll just watch Christmas movies today. I get on Instagram to post a few pictures and put a caption about moving to LA. I was nervous but I did post it and go back to the movie I was watching.

*time skip, 12pm*

I finished the movie and got so many texts from people about moving to LA. I didn't answer all of them, but Bryce did text me.

Bryce: when I get to LA, we're hanging out.

Me: of course we are. Did you think we wouldn't?

Bryce: yeah. Can I stay with you? I owe you still.

Me: are you kidding? You're one of my best friends. I mean we don't talk much anymore, but I still call you my best friend. yes you can stay with me.

Bryce: thanks. I owe you a lot.

I read his text and put my phone down. I decide to upload a video my Oregon vlog to YouTube. After it uploads, I tell all my platforms that I uploaded. I'm not that really famous though. I have about 200k subscribers and I only have 2 videos up. The thing about me is I don't ever show my friends on camera, yes they have been in pictures, but not videos. Maybe I'll post with Bryce.

*time skip, 4pm*

I watched the sister squad videos. They were so funny as they always are. Anyway, social media is dead today because of Christmas and spending time with family. I got a FaceTime call from Grayson.

"Hey", he said.

"Hey, how are you", I asked awkwardly. Why is this awkward?

"I'm good did you watch the videos", he asked.

"Yeah. Can you guys come back", I said.

"Your the one who wanted a break from us", he said laughing.

"Yeah I'm sorry I didn't know what I was thinking. It's so boring now", I said making it not awkward.

"We'll be back soon", he said.

"Ok bye I have to go", I said.

"Peace", he said. I laughed.

*time skip, 9pm*

This day has been filled with Christmas movies. My first Christmas alone wasn't so bad. I feel like when Bryce gets here, the energy would be so fun. Bryce texted me earlier saying he would be here January 2nd. I texted him, that was fine. Going to my bedroom, I started to blast music and jam out to it. Around 11pm, I started to get in bed and fall asleep.
