He's giving the same love to "her".
Probably the same nicknames as well.

The same gazes and feelings.
The same promises and wordings.

The same way he comforts.
The same way he flirts.

The main difference is the person with him.
The "she" who's there.

The distance "they" have between each other, the distance he and she had just couldn't compare.

He could be there for "her" when "she" needs him while he was only able to be there for her through a stupid screen.

The plans they made to love and serve Him, they did not take full action. Without the Lord, they were not strong enough to bring up each other.

And she's happy for him because he's trying to love Him more with "her" because she was not in that state of loving Him with him, together.
