Shades of red and orange and yellow
I wish it was not like the setting sun
Flames of love, anger and something more
With eyes on fire, I watched our lives burnWe're slowly moving apart, just like our support
Because people like us are never meant to fall
In love and lust, for we're two fiery souls
Who destroy each other, they once said I recallThen why do we replay it in our minds and bother?
I saw through your eyes about that dream
You were holding my hand for artificial support
You asked me to help you through your silent screams
But I held onto my pride which soon I had to abortOnce strong supporters, but now we're so distant
I guess you've been happier since the day you left me
We were too young and naive to know about love and pain
So you saw me as a prison and became an escapeeThen why do we still search for each other's support sometimes?
