"I still don't understand why you won't send the damn letters. You have their addresses on it and everything! All you need is a stamp and then you're done!" Aria exclaims as they walk through the parking lot, towards the football field. It was now hours later and they decided to attend the first football game of the season. They usually don't go to these kinds of things but Tori for some reason really wanted to go.

"I don't add a stamp for a reason Ariana! I don't want them to know how I feel about them. It will ruin everything and I'll just get rejected," Tori responds causing Aria to roll her eyes.

"First of all, don't call me that and second of all, how do you know they will reject you? What if one of them secretly likes you too?" Aria asks as they approach the ticket stand.

Aria reaches into her back pocket, pulling out a ten dollar bill and handing it to the girl behind the booth. She hands Aria two tickets before motioning for them to move. Aria hands one to Tori before making her way onto the bleachers. The girls sit on the first row, right in front of where the team sits. Everyone else sits further up so there's no one around the two.

"Aria, only like three people know my name. You, Zach and Tina. That's it. No one else knows of my existence," Tori argues while leaning back against the bench behind her. "Now stop talking about them. They're not being sent."

"Fine but I still want to find you a date," Aria replies, her eyes trained on the game in front of her. "I don't even understand what's going on, help me."

"I'll tell you when to cheer," Tori laughs. "And you only want me to get a date so you won't have to go on your date with Zach alone."

"I'm going to be so awkward if I go by myself," Aria whines, turning her attention to Tori. "Why did I agree?"

"Because you like him," Tori sings with a shit eating grin. "You'll be fine, I promise."

"I don't like him," Aria immediately shakes her head with a frown. She then sits for a second before the frown deepens. "Oh my god I like him."

"Only took like two years for you to realize," Tori snorts. Aria pushes her shoulder lightly, the frown still on her face. "C'mon, let's go get snacks, we're gonna be here a while."

"How did I let you talk me into this?" Aria groans, standing up from the bench and following Tori who had already started walking away.

"You get to see your boyfriend play football. Why are you complaining?" Tori replies. Aria goes to answer but is cut off.

"Aria has a boyfriend?" Tina's annoying laugh is heard from below them. The girls sigh and face the brunette cheerleader, bored looks on their faces. "I highly doubt that. She looks like a garbage can. Fat and disgusting."

"Alright, Tina can you just cut it out?" Tori exclaims, throwing her hands out. "We get it, you hate yourself. That doesn't give you the right to go around hating on other people too."

"The fact that you think I hate myself is hilarious," Tina scoffs. "I was just telling your little friend the truth, that's all." Tina turns to walk away before stopping and turning back towards the girl. "Oh and if I were you, I'd break up with your boyfriend. It's probably just a prank anyways. Especially if it was someone like Zach Herron."

"Aria, you can't listen to her," Tori says as Tina walks away. Tori grabs her arm, pulling her off of the bleachers and under a tree behind the fence. "Ariana Grace Tozier, you know she's just trying to get a reaction. None of what she said was remotely true."

"She may have been trying to get a reaction but that doesn't mean what she said wasn't true," Aria mumbles, her eyes watering with unshed tears. She lifts her head and looks out onto the field to see Zach and his friends joking around. Biting her lip slightly, she nods once before sticking her hands in her jean pockets. "I was stupid to think it wasn't a prank."
