Tori and Daniel walk into the cafeteria, Daniel's hand in the back pocket of Tori's jeans. Everyone gawks at the pair as they make their way to the center of the chaos. Tori feels very awkward as every pair of eyes in the room are focused on her. When they reach Daniel's table, the boy spins the girl till she's in his arms. Her hands are splayed on his chest, looking up to the boy with wide eyes.

"Good job," Daniel whispers in her ear, handing her a note. She just nods, kissing his cheek, and turns to head over to where Aria is standing in shock. Daniel had sat down at his table and was getting pats on the back from all of his friends. Tori pockets the note, planning to throw it out later.

"Where the fuck did he learn that?" Aria gasps in complete and utter shock. "I- am so confused."

"Come on," Tori mutters, pulling the girl out of the cafeteria. She leads the way outside and towards the football field, ducking under the bleachers. The two take a seat on the grass, pulling their lunch out as they do so. They don't do the whole cafeteria scene, opting for a quieter area to eat their lunch.

"Why didn't you tell me about you and Daniel sooner?" Aria asks before popping a chip into her mouth.

"Alright, I'm telling you this now," Tori sighs, setting her water bottle down. "We're not actually dating."

"What?" Aria chokes on her water at the blonde's words. "I saw you kiss, you're dating."

"We're fake dating," Tori begins to explain. "Daniel wants Tina back, I don't want Cody to think that I like him so we're using each other."

"Why would Daniel want Tina back? If I was him, I'd be overjoyed that I was no longer dating the bitch," Aria jokes, leaning back on her arms. "You do realize this is going to end terribly right?"

"I'm not letting myself think about it," Tori admits, peaking around to make sure no one was listening in. "I think things will be fine. When this is over it will go back to the way it's always been, Daniel not acknowledging my existence and me being a nobody."

"I don't know Tori, things probably won't go back to the way they were. This is a big deal," Aria sighs, packing up her stuff. The girls head back into the building, halting their conversation until the end of the day.

"Can you come over to help me make cupcakes for Joey's bake sale?" Tori asks as she and Aria walk in step to the parking lot.

"Yes but I have my date with Zach tonight so I'll have to leave early," Aria answers, unlocking her car. "I'll meet you at your house?"

"Yes and I can help you get ready for your date," Tori answers, quickly taking off towards Daniel's car. She ignores Aria's shout of protest, approaching the boy with a small smile. He opens the passenger door for her, kissing her cheek as she gets in. Tori blooms red as Daniel slams the door shit, jogging over to his side of the car.

"Why was Aria shouting at you?" Daniel asks, beginning to make his way towards the middle school to pick up Joey.

"I was teasing her about her little date with Zach tonight," Tori chuckles earning laughter from the older boy. "Why has it taken so long for him to ask her out?"

"Well, Aria has not been the nicest to him so he was very scared she would reject him," Daniel simply answers. "Granted, Zach is annoying as fuck so I can understand why she was mean to him."

"Best friend goals," Tori snorts, looking out the window with an amused smile on her face. They slowly pull up to the middle school, Joey jumping into the backseat. "How was school?"
