2. Park

Your POV

After a long and tiring day i finished my shift and head to my father's house which i always do when i finish work, i took my bike there and got there in a few minutes

"Dad" I entered his home with a spare key i got "Hey son" dad replied from the couch watching TV and i joined next to him "You know its been a while since we walked around town" I said breaking the silence between us "You want to stroll around" i nodded "Okay then grab your jacket lets go"

When i was still young our mom passed away in a crash, we were devastated to sat the least, i've became quiet in school and Dad took it the worse

But we found a new activity for us to do to get our minds from mom, We head down to a near park, played catch, swings, bought ice cream, after that we stroll around town looking at the beautifully structured buildings, but since i was busy with college we didn't get to go as frequently as last time.

"So how's your work doing" My dad asked while we are walking down the park path "Good, a couple of month more and i think we can afford an apartment" I replied

"You know i could help, i got a raise at work" My dad offered "Thanks, but don't you need it" I said as we sat on a park bench "For what, im 47 all i need to do is pay the bills and food, i think ill be okay"

"If you want then sure" i smiled at my dad. I looked at the tree that we used to go under if we wanted to go and have a picnic "You know mom would like this" Dad said "Yeah i think she would".

After that we ate ice cream while walking around town talking to each other, until we reached our house
"Do you want to come in or are you going to your friends house" Dad asked

"I'll stay here but i need to tell my friends something" He nodded and went inside his house.
