This one is quite short, but poetry is not so much about the length of the poem, rather the meaning. A poem can be two lines long, yet have such an immense impact on someone.

She thought she had finally found true love,
But not really, no.
Her heart had only wandered,
A long way from home.
She thought her life was perfect,
She thought her life had meaning;
But she had no idea,
That she'd only just been dreaming.
Until the dream ended,
And her heart was broken in two,
She thought she was in love
But really had no clue.
