For my dreams are as close as we'd ever be now,

And to dream of us, every reason I scurry to bed these days.

At the fall of dusk, when the lids that are my eyes' shut out the luminescence about it,

When I say my graces and my heart calms it's paces,

My mind swirling its bank, all but for a dream, through its archive it races.

When the curtains are raised and finally I lift up my face.

We were actors and our audience,

Our hearts applauding every action, such noise in silence.

For your heart was Scarlet,

And the full of your lips,

Beautifully rosy.

And in them was I consumed in desire,

Of them, did my soul require.

In bed we lay,

Paralyzed in our moment,

We spoke without words,

And I listened, to every whisper your eyes uttered.

For they spoke in a tongue only I understood,

In your smile the earth about me stood.

We were magic,

You, you my dear, were the star of my show.

Now I seek that which was perfect, even if only for a second, to relive again.

I'd scurry to bed at the dusk of day,

For that dream is as close as we'd ever be again.
