I miss the days of beautiful dawns, when the daze of the thought of you, of us, preceded my morning yawns.
I miss the days when in your gaze I'd lay,
When in haze you'd have my calm come to stay.
When in my lonely phase you became the company I sought for,
When your face was all I required and nothing more.
I miss the days I called you mine,
When the future was set, with you every night I would dine.
When loving you was planned till I die,
Not to dwell in this hate but on the other side of the thin line.
When the reality of our dreams was the dwelling of our beings,
When to you, body heart and soul was given.
It was a while back when I dwelled in the bubble of our love,
Ignorant of the rubbles the world spat at us.
It was when I was high on your energy nonetheless,
And in time, all that energy fizzled into nothingness.
