Laksh was numb, then he found his voice, "a boyfriend? Well it's better to have a girlfriend, not that you don't deserve one, but come on you are just..." She looked at him with a frown face and red eyes. "Maybe I should stop talking, what happen?" He cups her face and wipes the tears away.

Ragini sniffs, "I'm sorry I had a boyfriend, he just broke up with me." Again tears were rolling down her cheeks.

Laksh felt bad, "how can someone break up with you? Hmm?" He looked at her from tip to toe, "good figure, nice smile, beautiful face and a good sense of humour. What does a man needs more?" He asked then stopped, "you slept with him, right?"

Ragini hits him and smiles, "you are so weird. Yes, we were in a living-in-relationship. We shared a lot, but he just ended it." She was looking at the ocean, her legs were angled and her chin was resting on her hands, which were on her knees.

Laksh was lost, "Ragini didn't he told you the reason?" He could feel it, she wasn't sharing her pain with him, maybe she doesn't trust him.

Ragini turned her face to look at him, "Laksh last night after we talked I returned to my room. I knew Karan had messaged me, but I forgot to check and reply to him."

Laksh rolls his eyes, "that idiot broke up with you just because you didn't reply him, immediately. Ragini he wasn't good enough for you."

Ragini shook her head, "no Laksh, that wasn't the reason for the break up." She was looking at him, her nose was running.

Laksh searched for a hanky, he gave it to her and asked her to clean her face. Ragini smiles, "like you did?" Laksh lifts his collar, "aunty style se!"

Ragini laughs and cleaned her nose, which didn't sound like a trompete, but like a shouting elephant.

Laksh was looking at her, "do you want to competitive with me? Who is louder?"

Ragini smiles, she shook her head and felt better, "no Laksh, I can't beat you." She was sitting there not moving, but Laksh felt as if she needs a pillar. He placed his arm around her neck and pulls her close, she was resting her head on his shoulder, "why he did this?" Laksh asked and Ragini was happy that he did.

Ragini didn't looked at him, "actually he broke up with me the moment I left to attend the wedding. He wanted to make it personally in the morning, but he said, 'I couldn't!' Like seriously he couldn't?" She was hell angry, "that asshole wrote me a message before leaving, I thought it would be a goodbye see you later message, but it was a messages."

She took out her mobile phone and shows him the message she received from her ex- boyfriend •Call me as soon as you arrive!•

Laksh read it and fumed seeing it, "that guy is an asshole." He was really angry, Ragini could see it through his face.

Laksh made a fist, "if I will ever see him, I will break his nose and his teeth's for sure."

Ragini smiles, she placed her head on his shoulder, "I saw the message and was angry, like is that the way to talk to me? No, then? I called him after my mobile was charge, but before that I hit my toe."

Laksh looked at her, he then looked at her toe and found it a little bit red, he bend down over her feet, "which toe?" Ragini was thinking he shook his head and kissed each.

"My mother used to kiss on my wounds it always felt as if nothing had hurt me."

Ragini was numb for a moment, she nods, "true."

Laksh rubs the feet of her and was back on her side, "so you called him?"

Ragini looked at him, "yes, I called him."

The phone was ringing

"Hello Ragini finally you called." Karan said and I thought this was his concern for me, but.

"Haan Karan, sorry I didn't had the time before. You know my mobile was death and then I forgot to charge it. We went out for shopping and I left my mobile at their home. Just now I took it from the charger and immediately called you."

"Ragini I...?" He was taking long to answer.

"Karan what happen? Say it."

"Ragini I don't think we have a future. Listen our life together was nice we both had collected experiences, but there is nothing left. I don't think I love you anymore. I can't see you as a wife, let's end it before it is too late. You are in India, what is very good, because this gives me the time to take my stuff and leave. I think you should live here further otherwise you know how difficult it is to find a rentable apartment in London. Good bye."

Laksh looked at her, "and?" He was waiting as it felt incomplete.

Ragini shook her head, "trust me even I wanted to talk more about it with him, but he cut the call and blocked my number. I tried a lot to contact him after the last night, but I guess it's over for him and he won't let me speak anymore."

Laksh shook his head in disbelief, "what the fuck! Ragini this guy never deserved you, good he break up with you, it would have been better if you would have done it and wouldn't cry for him. But it is okay we have our weak moments, just forget that asshole he isn't worth a tear."

Ragini smiles, "you are right. I don't know why I wasted my time with him, but not anymore. I think I should stay single for a while." She nods to herself and he smiles.

Single? Tu aur main kitne ache lagenge saath main mingle karte waqt {You and me would look awesome together} I won't let you stay single for long.

He was smirking. Thank god he broke up with her, he just cleared my way. Wait what! Me and Aunty?

Ragini was looking at him, "Laksh what happened?" She shows her hand and gestured him.

Laksh shook his head, "nothing Aunty all is fine, you remember my promise?"

Ragini nodded, "yes, what is with it?"

Laksh was holding the promise for something else, but then, "Ragini promise not to cry for him. Like I said he isn't worth it, you will find a better one, who will love and respect you as well as your work. He has no idea what he missed by breaking your heart. Just forget him."

Ragini nods, "okay my knight!" She smiles, "who is Karan?" She looked at him and he smiles, "that's the spirit and don't worry your secret is save. Promise!"

They enjoyed the sunset and reached back home.
