Not so unrequited love

Me and Negan wake up in a bed in a small cabin. "Y/N! Negan! You're awake! Luke made us oatmeal!" Lj said while pulling us. "Okay okay lemme sit up junior." Negan laughed while getting out of bed. "Y'all head on down i'll be there in a minute." I say giving a small nod. Lj takes Negan's hand and practically runs off with him. I sit up and untie my hair letting it fall loosely. I walk over to the mirror and run my fingers through it trying to make it look halfway decent. There was a bandage wrapped around my head but the ringing in my ears stopped. I headed downstairs and slowly opened a door leading to the kitchen to see Luke and the man he was with. "I'm sorry we didn't have time to introduce Nick here yesterday. You decided to pass out so quickly." Luke said chuckling. "Y/N." I say while turning towards Nick giving a small smile. He smiled and nodded. Luke motioned for me to follow him into the living room while Negan and Lj were talking to Nick. We sat on the couch before his face saddened. "Negan was telling me Lj's story about how his mother died." He said while looking down. "Yeah..um look this'll be hard to hear but her name was leah.." I said. His eyes widened and he put his face in his palms. "No...I promised i'd find her when we'd gotten separated.." Luke rubbed his forehead. I pulled him into a quick comforting hug. "You took care of him since then?" Luke asks. "Yes..Me and Negan treated him like our own. We're all he's had, so we're trying to raise him to be strong in case something happens to us." I say. "Thank you y/n." Luke says while giving a warm smile. "I guess we should probably tell him?" I ask. Luke nods. "Me and Negan are going fishing. I could explain everything to them then." Luke says. "I guess i'll get to know Nick then." I say nervously. "Don't worry he doesn't bite. He'll talk more once he get gets to know you. He's going hunting to see if we can get some deer i'm sure he'd like the company." Luke nods and heads into the kitchen and I follow. "Ready to go?" Luke asks gaining a nod from Lj and Negan. "Be careful doll. I'll be back later." Negan says kissing my cheek. Lj gives me a hug then quickly runs after Negan. "Could you use some help?" I say softly to Nick. He just gives a small nod with a smile and motioned for me to follow him.

We'd been walking for a while until we were in the middle of the forest. Nick hadn't really talked much but if I asked him a question he answered politely. We eventually found a deer and started to head back. "This your first time hunting?" He says while keeping his eyes ahead. "Yes..was I that bad." I giggled. "Naw..You were alright." He smiled and paused. "Shit is that.." He trailed off before a man knocked him out with a gun and then pointed it at me. "Don't move and I won't shoot." The raspy voice said. I scoffed before another man walked in front of me. I saw Negan and Lj being held at gunpoint being guided over to where we were. Luke shortly behind him. "Who the fuck are you people?" Negan says angrily. "Now that's no way to talk to the guy who hasn't shot you yet." A man with a brown coat said. "Carver.." Luke said in an irritated manner. Lj looked at me with scared eyes. "Hey remember what we learned. Be strong. Be brave. We'll be alright." I give a reassuring smile and he nods before frowning at Carver. "Well who are you?" Carver said with a smirk. I ignore his question while the other man in front of me smirks as well. Carver exchanges looks with the man before the guy uses his gun and hits me in the stomach. I fall to my knees and try to catch my breath before Carver turns me over on my back and puts his boot on my neck. "Let's get one thing straight girl or not i'll kick your ass. Don't test me girl." He then let go of my Neck. "Y/N!" Lj yelled. "Don't fucking touch her!" Negan yells. Carver laughs and throws us all in the back of a truck.

The truck ride was bumpy and torturous. When we finally stopped and was escorted out of the truck I seen the same hotel from a few years back. "Stop her. That one." A women says. I turn to see the same woman with Green eyes and long brown hair. "Looks like you're back after all and with a kid. Maybe you'll cooperate this time." She says while smirking. Carver heads into the hotel and his men stay out with their guns pointing at us. "I didn't get your name." She said sternly. "Y/n." I answer reluctantly. "Diana." She says while pushing her hair behind her ear and motioning for the men to lower their weapons. "D...Diana." Negan mumbles while gaining her attention. "I'm Negan." He said stepping forward. "You...I thought you didn't make it?" She said while hugging him. I frown and scoff. Negan grabs my waist and pulls me close to him. "Y/n, Diana is um...the first woman I fell in love with after the apocalypse." He said kind of nervously. "Is that so." I say sarcastically. She smiles at him which fades when she looks in my direction. "So wait...the kid is...yours?" She said lowly. We nod. "Well the baby I was pregnant with didn't make it..but Lj here is still ours and we love him like our own." I said firmly. She lowers her gaze from me and turns back to Negan. "Well you guys should come on in. Matt, Take them to their sleeping quarters and Negan you come with me." She said grabbing his arm and pulling him inside. Matt had brown eyes and short fluffy hair. He wore a military uniform along with all the other men. "Come on this way." He said giving the rest of us a small smile. I guess Lj could see the frustration in my face because he lightly grabbed my hand as we walked. I smiled gently at him. "Hey you okay?" Luke asks while looking at my neck that was still bruised from Carver's boot. I nod as we come to a hault at a room with 5 beds. "Y'all stay here." Matt says as he walks away. We walk in and look around. "These are the sick fucks who make soldiers out of anyone. If you don't follow orders you die.. In their eyes you only have one family..Them. And you have to be willing to die for the delta." Luke says crossing his arms. "We can't stay here.." I say. "That'll be hard. But with Lj being so young and seeing how much you care for him..I doubt they'll let you keep him. He's to young to fight." Luke says. "What are you saying? They'll kill him?!" I say angrily. "No they'll dump him outside and make him fend for himself and look for him later...If he's still alive when he's older they'll make him a soldier too." Luke says sadly. "That's not gunna happen. We'll get out of here." I say burrowing my brows. Luke nods as the door fly's open revealing Diana and Negan. I try to reach for him but she steps in front of him. He just looks at the ground. "What the fuck did you do! Move." I shout at her. She walks closer to me untill she's inches from my face. "Wanna step back. I'd recommend it." I say sternly. "We can make a deal Y/N. I want Negan and so do you. He's gunna stay in my room with me either way, but you have two options. Join us. or Fight for us and never be able to speak to him." She smirks crossing her arms. "What the hell do you mean join you?" I ask in disbelief of what she said. She walked even closer and crashed her lips into mine. I instantly pushed her off. "You're out of your fucking mind!" I yelled. "Your loss. Stay here and fight then." She walks out of the room. Negan looks at me with sorrow in his eyes. "Negan..." I say trying to hug him, but before he can grab my hand Diana shouts for him. He pulls away and exits the room. "They are sick people..and it's only gunna get worse.." Luke says. I turn to Lj and Luke. "We are getting out of here. ALL of us."
