Tip #1: Never Proofread (or if you do, don't let anyone notice)Once you've finished the draft for your new chapter, it's important to always proofread. It makes your writing sound fluent, captivating and, most importantly, professional. That's exactly why you shouldn't try it on your fanfic... or if you suddenly OCD conceal it behind a few facepalm mistakes.
How Not to Proofread Your Chapter:
1. Write down the draft (preferably on TP)
2. Make sure to write it as quickly as you can (activate last-minute sprint mode)
3. Wash your hands (very important!)
4. Open up Wattpad (in the palm of your hand soon)
5. Copy-paste your draft (available on the playstore)
6. Dispose correctly of your draft (or destroy to prevent plagiarism)
7. Publish (quickly before you start having second thoughts)
8. Ask your imaginary critic friend for an opinion (unless they're on a tough schedule)
9. ENJOY! (optional)If you somehow feel you're doing it wrong, maybe you should consider attempting the one shot genre. You're going to need a lot of support, since it'll be a try or die trying situation. What do you think? That's not a good idea for you RN.
I feel tempted to help you, though, but that's off-topic to this HowTo. What, are you saying one shots are better for your career? Then you're clearly doing it wrong, m8!Don't forget to vote!
