Tip #7: Requesting To Be Requested
And so, we arrive to the final tip of the How To Fanfic, the final step in the arduous Fanficcer journey. Some said "Nah!", few loathed it, most just loved it (Say no more, I know everything!). But I can't put the "completed" stamp and leave without a few notes approaching the infamous task of requesting folks to check out one of your scribbles.
You see, in Roman times, you'd need to get out and hunt for possible readers. You'd put on your sandals, grab your book and go by foot in search of the possible philosopher capable of reading it, praying that he'd be still in the cave you found him at six months ago. And when and if you got to find some, you'd have to endure the monstrous sight of his conceited twitches throughout the ten lines of papyrus you wasted before your pen supposedly ran out of ink.
But now, in the twenty-first-ish century nowadays, a writer can be read in total anonymousity, and hence, you tend to lose control between those who don't really read your books, and those who inevitably end up breaking the promise of checking them due to their own personal agenda as Wattadders (check Tip #6)
